Upon pick up my Priority Package today at Elon, NC Post Office I presented my ID and shipping number. The older women was happy to help. However, the younger women in her forties scolded me saying " We cannot retrieve Priority Mail for you all the time" I stated this is a important package. She then stated to me "You all say that". How rude and uncompassionate. Not knowing the contents or urgency for me and my family.
I’m not sure what’s going on with this location delivery of mail? I’ve have my flag up with mail to be picked up for the past 2 days not only is my flag still up but my bill has not been picked up. Are you just making delivery and mail pick up only certain days of the week? If so people need to know what your schedule is so we can make other arrangements.
Appalling. In spite of there being a federal mandate, this is the 2nd day that I have been to this location and employees were not wearing face masks. Two woman had them around their necks. The woman who waited on me was actually eating while weighing my package! She was rude and surly and spoke to me through a mouthful of food. Incredible. Who is supervising these people?
Elon post office has the worse customer service.
They won't let me pick up a package for my daughter before we leave for airport. Says their not allowed to hand a package over the counter. Official USPS website says otherwise. Was told they have their own policy.

This type of attitude and non existing customer service is the reason why the post office is having such a decline in customers and continue to lose money every year. People have too many other choices to put up with their "don't want to be here attitude. "
Idk what the hold up is. I understand there is a pandemic. But I have 4 packages that should of left there already and says pending. I have 2 small boxes and 2 envelopes. Been the envelopes took a few days but finally shipped. No luck with the small boxes. I am a paying customer. I am just as important as Amazon. No movement from the place. This has been happening way too much.
The clerks do not provide information. They start charging postage for packages without giving options to the customer. One clerk failed advise me about and give required tracking forms to me; then the USPS lost one of my packages. Neither I nor the intended recipient received the package nearly two months later. The employees walk around and ignore customers without acknowledging them, making them wait in line for extra time. The clerks permit other customers to interrupt transactions and call other customers expletives after making the customers wait for them. Several vendors have contacted me to let me know that mail to be delivered to my house was returned to the sender. Why does the mail service charge money for such poor service? Why employ employees who are not providing the service we pay for?
I can't believe how rude and unprofessional the clerks are at this location. I live in Elon NC and feel like I have to go to another post office to get decent service, they close early and will not help you at 5 minutes till close and promise you it's after close even though you AND another person that need help have clocks that say other wise!
