I had my mail held for a week while out of town. I had three Amazon packages delivered to USPS on Nov 11 and 12. I know this because I have USPS daily mail alerts. For some reason Banner Elk post office said they attempted to deliver my packages, but could not. My neighborhood has a large box next to our mailboxes for such deliveries. I've spent the better part of 2 hours trying to call the post office. No one picks up. What kind of service is this? It isn't!

Worst service delivery ever. I will inform all companies I order from not to use postal service. Our delivery person left a $800 leather jacket sitting on 194 at our Mailbox, then March 9th 2021 smashed a package to try an fit it in the mailbox. It's obvious what we are dealing with and at some point either the item or the mailbox will be damaged which the Banner Elk Post office will pay for. Lazy and unorganized post office, run by morons.

Masks should be required of customers. Many customers do not wear face masks. Masks are only recommended.

recently had package delivered from walmart ( order # 5862073402310) w/ drivers note "left in or near mailbox". No package has been received. I suspect a porch pirate. Bill Gould 8288983824 I have ordered a replacement and would appreciate package to be placed on front porch as is usual for a USPS delivery at 919 Sugar Mtn Drive, 28604

They did not deliver my package. The Amazon order said it was delivered but that I had to pick it up at the post office. USPS site said delivery was attempted. Called and called the post office and never got through so we drove 30 minutes to the Banner Elk Post office and was told by some old lady with brown hair that they had too many packages to deliver yesterday but that it was out for delivery today. Except it was not delivered today. And I still can’t get through by phone. No wonder USPS is struggling! It’s ridiculous.

This post office does not answer their phone when they are open!, they cut you off over and over again or it continually rings and some times an auto answer asks for your remote access code?...This is not acceptable!,,

John, our mail carrier on Beech Mountain is excellent in service, attitude and goes a step above to be helpful. He is the best example of a person who does their job well and with pride.
