I've been under the impression that packages without a P.O. box are held for a few days in case domeone comes to pick then up. For the last, I don't know, decade maybe, I've has packages be sent (some business) be sent to our address, which doesn't get mail delivery, via USPS. they're sent to the post office, and are IMMEDIATELY RETURNED TO SENDER. the one individual in there lies to your face about "oh I'll keep a lookout for it, and they usually get set aside for a few days so as long as you come in the day it was delivered it should be fine" total bs. Years of this. I'm sick of it.
