The gray-haired lady who was working on 11/20 was so rude. Assumed I was a renter but I’m the owner. I still don’t have my mail and she wouldn’t tell me how many days it would take to get the keys made for the mailbox. Still waiting for mail and it’s been since 11/10. She needs a lesson in customer service. May be hard to teach her. What’s the saying ? …..
I’d really appreciate it if my packages would not either be tossed at my door, or marked for pickup because they won’t fit in the box. At my last address, my packages were thrown up the stairs at my door, some of which damaged the wall and others had devastating effects to the package. My new address, I have a very short flat driveway, and an even shorter flat walkway. There’s no reason for any packages to be thrown at me door. And every time I call in to try to get them to stop throwing my stuff, the phone system just transfers me back and forth and tells me incorrectly that I’m calling outside of business hours. I have had many other issues with this post office, but the package throwing is unacceptable.
This is the second piece of mail that has been damaged. First was a bridesmaid formal dress an now a large envelope has been torn and crammed in the mailbox. I have a picture of the envelope. I would be happy to show it to you!
I called Bozeman post office for 3 hours today and could not get an answer and every voicemail was full and could not accept a message. I sent a Priority Package for $15.50 to my nephew... never received. Tracked it and it is sitting at the Bozeman post office since Jan 19th. Says incorrect address. It is the correct address and said it will be returned to me today... no way can I get a message to them that the recipient will come down tomorrow. This is insanity as I tried to email them and no website to make that happen.
I sent a Christmas card with a gift card in it , December 1, 2020, to a post office box in Bozeman Montana, to me niece and her family. The receipient had changed their address, P.O. box. Which I did not know. They have not received my card. I had put a return address on the envelope. She does not have and I do not have it returned. Would like to know where it is. Hope it’s not stolen.
Please help. I sent a comment 2 days ago no response. Mailed a letter to Bozeman P.O. box. Not received. I put my return address on. Mailed December 1 2020 . Please help.

Small 1st class package is now over a week later than promised. It is tracking number, 9500116023070352361552 . If you look at all the places it has been (and sometimes stayed 2 days in two of the locations), this is ridiculous
It lingered 3 days in BREMERTON, WA 12/17 - 12/20
It arrived at December 20, 2020, 9:49 pm at Kent WA
Three days later it made it to SEATTLE
A day after that it went to MISSOULA
The day after that it went to Butte and stayed there 3 DAYS
After leaving Butte, it went to Billings
December 29, 2020, 1:25 am it left Billings (not saying where it going,
but it sure as hell better be Bozeman. (please look into this case
This review is in reference to the drivers that park on 9th and Villard. I understand the city lets you guys park your 2-ton without permit in our neighborhood. We, in the neighborhood, ask that you park on the West side of 9th. Its hard to see around your large truck at the corner and you also park in a residents paid spots. Thanks in advance.
P.S. Stop throwing my packages on to the stairs. Set them down at the door like a normal human being.
I had a payment for my insurance company sit in my mailbox for a week and a half before being picked up. I just got a letter today saying my insurance has been cancelled due to non payment. Now, I'm without insurance this whole year!!!!! I'm seriously infuriated right now. ESPECIALLY AFTER BRIBING MY MAIL CARRIER WITH $20 TO CHECK IF I HAVE OUTGOING MAIL!!!! I guarantee I make less money than these postal workers! I shouldn't have to bribe anyone to do their job. I also got left a nasty note by my mail carrier. I received someone else's mail in my box, so I wrote "Not at this address" . My mail carrier put a nasty note on a card that said "no mail will be delivered to this address until this card is filled out with the names of people who can accept mail here". I had already filled one of these cards out and sent it back. So, I filled it out, yet again. Still receiving other people's mail!
Absolutely rude and terrible customer service!!!
I send a package by Priority Mail on Thursday Evening. It was suppose to arrive by Saturday morning. (This is what the Baxter postal workers told me.) Saturday morning, I checked the tracking. The package has only left Bozeman on Friday Evening. It didn't arrive until Monday Evening. Two and a half days late. I would advise using someone else for any of your packages.
I stayed home all Nov 10 and Nov13 because tracking said delivery of parcel would be made which requires signature. No delivery was made either day. When then trying to call Bozeman office I receive constant busy signal hour after hour. No alternative link to human at office is available. This service is greatly disappointing
Rude and untrained post office staff at Baxter station
I've asked a number of different Baxter post office staff the same question (if "expected 2 or 3 day delivery" includes weekend days), and have been told both yes and no. It appears they don't really know. Some of the staff are very dismissive and rude. I would never hire these types of employees to work for my business.
yep, usps is bad!! The postmaster here in bozeman on baxter is rude and needs to be fired! Our carrier leaves packages in unlocked boxes because she forgets to lock the box and leave the lock box key. And if there is any small amount of snow in front of the mail boxes, they will drive right by!! Rain, snow or shine...not...now its rude whiney and lazy!! No wonder they are way in debt! I say fire them all and get a company to take over!! Lazy!!
Postal Service is horrible. It was snowing today and our family was expecting a package that we tracked from UPS and saw it was transferred to the Postal Service that was scheduled to be delivered today. We watched the man that driving the Postal Service vehicle stop in front of the house, grab our outgoing mail, put a couple envelopes in the mail box and then he started to leave. My husband went out there to see if he had our package and he DID! He didn't want to get out of the Postal Service vehicle to put it on our porch because it was snowing. This is unacceptable and ridiculous but the delivery driver for the Postal Service didn't care. Calling to complain as well. Watch your Postal Service mail delivery when you here them pull up so this doesn't happen to you!
