Review is not a really popular or correct word for this problem. Costly aggravation is more like it. Please respond to this comment and request as soon as possible or give me the next level email address I need to approach. For some time, our mail is not delivered within a timeframe that allows us to check for expected deliveries. This has been happening for more than a few days or weeks and years and has been cited and reported to the local office on numerous occasions. For a while, the mail was being delivered at or near 3 p.m. but that varies often. In the last couple of weeks, the mail has been delivered at 7:30 p.m. which is totally ridiculous. For those of us who still try to include the USPS as our primary delivery service and who often pay extra "prime-time prices" from vendors who guarantee to get items delivered to our address in a timely manner, the 7:30 p.m. delivery is totally unacceptable. Please respond to me at the above email address so that I can find out exactly what is causing this snafu for delivery and provide me the address of the next level official I need to contact, if necessary. I am handicapped and cannot physically visit the local post office but have called the two numbers I have for the post office numerous times in the last two days (601-636-1022 and 601-636-1071) and have never spoken to anyone. The recorded message is a joke and is totally unhelpful after following the the instructions. I want to continue to support the USPS but this level of service is not acceptable. My efforts to report the carrier by name have been denied in the past but flimsy excuses for his demeanor toward patrons as well as his refusal to respond to questions regarding a specific problem have been made by his supervisor(s). I respectfully ask that you respond to this request for an explanation of the 7:30 p.m. delivery versus the more normal delivery time of 3 p.m. Thanks for your attention to this request.

If you’re considering sending a gift card through Vicksburg, think again. I sent an amazon gift card to my friend to welcome her new baby. It never arrived. The last tracking up date said it was lost by the mail carrier. The job of the mail carrier is to keep up with the mail. Right?! I’m sure it was stolen. My friend who I sent it to said she had her debit card stolen or “lost” 3x when it was sent to that address.

Sent a small package to a relative who lives in Vicksburg. It was supposed to be delivered on Monday 5/7. It was supposedly delayed. Checking from my end the package is sitting at the Vicksburg post office. What next? Is my package going to wind up in the dead letter/package office to be thrown out?

I just want to point out that the Vicksburg post office employees one of the rudest deliver women I have ever seen in my life. She is absolutely rude. I simply saw her putting mail in the box at my apartment and asked her if I could drop my mail while she was there. Not only did she not acknowledge me, she didn't even turn around to look at me. All she did was pull out her hand with long, disgusting finger nails and snatch my mail. She is a younger looking black woman who should not be employed. I guess they figure she should not have any contact with the public so she would be ok in this job. Get a new f***ing attitude. Seriously, this is the 3rd rude experience I have had with her. I wish I had her name so I could blast her on every website. Hard to get a name when you can even be acknowledged for standing there. Cut your nails. It looks awful!
