I had a package from Duluth. They said you notified them you put in my parcel box at Tuscan Hills. Oxford, MS. My entire neighborhood has lost hundreds of packages. I do not know what kind of employees you are hiring. But it seems there is a problem.

I once had a P.O. Box that I let go because getting back and forth to check it became a problem. So I had to go back rural which was okay until we got substitute drivers. The regular young man was nice and friendly. A substitute driver seen me in front of my house and put all my mail in the neighbors box. This was a constant thing with the substitute drivers The neighbors would open my mail, leave it in the rain. Terrible neighbors! I constantly get credit checks now. I’m so happy to be back at the post office. Friendly service with two of the front workers. Always nice. I don’t have to worry about someone opening my mail. I can leave the house and don’t have to worry about packages delivered to the wrong house. I just love the services.

The Oxford post office keeps delivering mail for someone else, former residence at our address. I keep taking the mail to the post office, and let them know this person does not live here, and hasn't for the last 8 or 9 years. To no avail. We keep getting letters for the same person.
Contemplating just throwing the mail away.

Hello. I want to commend the staff of the Oxford, MS Post Office and especially Scott Perkins. They have helped me track a package sent to my niece. I did not expect when I submitted a service request to the general site of the U.S. Postal Service that I would be contacted within a day by the team at the local Oxford office, and that I would hear about such a thorough search conducted. Almost every time I order something from Ebay it is MIS SENT to SLIDELL 70458 instead of to SLIDELL 70460 AND DELIVERED TO MY POST BOX WHICH IS 70469. I have tried to get the local Post Master to remedy this problem to no avail. He passes the buck to EBAY, but try to contact them is futile.

I mailed a car tag to my daughter Amy Kate Winter, a student at Ole Miss. It was designated to be delivered at the Univ of Ms, however, it ended up at the PO in Oxford. The people i the PO at the Univ of Ms told my daughter yesterday they would send someone and get the tag so she could get it today. that did not happen and I am upset. She cannot drive the car we bought without this tag ; it was sent to the wrong PO. I would appreciate it if steps could be taken to get it to the Univ of MS PO.

My name is John Dredge and I live at 518 Rock Springs Dr Oxford Mississippi 38655, my rural mail carrier is the worst that I have ever seen, if I get e-mail notification on my mail, it may be a week or more before I receive my mail, and if you try to call the local post office, you can never get thru to a human, I am now going to call the Postmaster Generals office, and since I have an uncle in Congress, I will get something done ! John I can relate to some degree. Although I can't speak on your carrier I can speak on the office as a whole they have had my package since the 18th and still haven't shipped it to my office so I can receive it and I am a Hernando resident. you'd think it was due to the weather but this is the way they operate all the time. I can't understand for the life of me why our packages leaves Memphis to go to OXFORD to be held hostage. I've called the POSTMASTER the other day and I'm going to suggest that you do the same. This is ridiculous. good luck

I'm in New Orleans and was sent a Priority package from New York on 12/22. Tracking says it has been sitting in this Oxford, MS PO since 12/26. How can I get it??? They don't even answer the phone. I opened a lost package case 5 days ago and still nothing. My inlaws sent food in there so it must be smelling pretty bad by now.

My package has been there since 12/29. I went up there and they tell me that it's in Memphis. Every thing that comes through this post office sits there for a week before moving. Not sure why. Also not sure why it says the zip is 38675 when Oxford is 38655. This place is a joke.

This is a joke. How come fed ex didn’t get covid as their items arrived on time. I mailed grandkids priority 2 day envelope Clanton ala it’s now 17 days and still stuck in god forsaken hole oxford missioli. Not one update nothing. Fed ex 5 cents cheaper arrived day early. I give you my word this is the ideal time to start political action to privatize the postal system. Covid another reason excuse for incompetence. If people couldn’t travel to take gives a fool would have grasped it had to be moved. Folks are starving for jobs. Poorly planned typical. How come amazon and fed ex were exempt from impact of covid? They Delia’s promised. Thanks for ruining my grandchildren s surprise from grandparents. I am very upset about my 3 packages arriving at the Oxford Post Office and not getting sent on to its paid destination in Tennessee! I mailed the 3 packages on Dec 2 from Lancaster, Ohio and was told it would arrive in Scotts Hill Tennessee on the 4th. Why it is still sitting at Oxford Mississippi is very upsetting! My grandchildren never received their Christmas presents. That is cruel of the post office to not be doing their job. I'm very upset! I paid over 255.00 to get delivered way before Christmas.

My package was shipped from New York and for some reason to Florida and then to Oxford Mississippi. I stay about 80 miles south of Oxford and my package has been there since before Christmas and all the tracking system is saying is your package is moving through the mail system and is on its way to the next destination but it never said it left Oxford. Reading all these reviews makes me think this is where mail go to die.

I am upset that a change was made to my mail address. I was receiving my mail around 3 or 4 pm. A change of carrier resulting in receiving my mail around 5:30 to 6 p.m. regularly. WHY was this change made since it does not help the customers?

I just talked to a Donna (sweet as pie) at the nearest post office location and the zip code of “675” doesn’t exist so no one knows exactly where the packages are and due to the post office being behind 2 weeks no one knows when you’ll receive your package usps needs to hire Amazon prime or figure it out bc this is sad Nd devastating especially with what’s already gone on in the year

I have sent my new born passport to a consulate in priority mail and it's stuck in Oxford MS. I can physically come and pickup my package please help with this, it's really ridiculous . We have travel plans internationally and USPS Oxford MS is reason for any cancellations that may happen

There is a "black hole" for P.O. Oxford, MS 38675!
9 packages from various sources (sent as far back as Dec. 5) get all across the country quickly and THEN they then disappear for weeks at Oxford P.O. Just stuck there. No one at the P.O. can explain why - or when - they will ever be delivered. EVEN dated medicines fall into this "black hole." What is going on????

I send things to Southaven, MS once a week via 2-day Priority and the mail is taking up from 6-13 days to get delivered from Chicago, IL. When I tracked the package that took 13 days, I discovered it had been returned to Chicago to the Elk Grove Bulk Mail Station from the Oxford Station and then back to the Oxford Station and finally arrived to the destination. My most recent package was sent, November 27th and still hasn't been delivered. Unfortunately, I misplaced the receipt and hasn't been able to track the package.

Our postal carrier on Davis Drive is horrible. Three times in a week we got packages that did not belong to us and missing packages left in wrong mail box. Thankfully, they are honest people to get the packages to correct townhome. He needs glasses or another position. I'm afraid of ordering anything else for fear of not getting it. I'm also really concerned about receiving important mail. Please address.

I don’t know what is going on up there but y’all keep losing my packages for like a week. I mean I’m just outside of Jackson it should take less than a day for them to get here. Every single time a package is late with USPS the last known location is Oxford, MS. What the heck. I need my stuff and I pay y’all good money to get it on time. A day or 2 I can understand. Once in a while I can understand. I can not understand consistently a week or more late when I’m just in Jackson. Get your stuff together or I’ll start going higher until I find somebody who will help me.

This post office is becoming somewhat of a joke. I have dialed non-stop for 2.5 hours, and the phone has been busy every time. The only way that is possible, is if the phone were off the hook. They have a package that was supposed to be delivered to my business on Friday. The shipper confirms that it is there. But it has been pushed back to being delivered until the 23rd. No explanation, no apology, nothing. If any other business were run in this manner, it would have had to close its doors long ago. Absolutely horrible service, paired with an absolutely horrible attitude.

We have been using the hold mail option for a while now. Got in earlier than expected. Went to pick up mail in Oxford on McElroy. No mail. I know better. We held it, April 22-May12. Wanted mail to reconvene. She ask me if I had checked our mailbox. Nothing in there. If the carrier is holding it in her vehicle. You are in trouble.

Terrible customer service. We had a 2:45 appt to get passports and were 5 minutes late. We waited in line until almost 3. The lady was paged before 3. Came out of the back office at 3:20 refusing to make eye contact. Mumbled a few things under her breath to the other employee and then rudely asked were we waiting in passports. When responding yes we were told it’s to late we stop at 3. After informing her we’d been in line since before 3 it all went down hill she lied and said she didn’t take break until 3 asked her supervisor to come out and he was as rude as she was. Needless to say no one would help us. I own and run several businesses and this is NO WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS

Over past 4 months JUST in our cove in Wellsgate("THE POINT"Myself & others neighbors have constantly gotten other people's mail which has caused us on 2 different times to reorder. Also water bills are getting here 2/3 weeks late & water being threatened to be cut off. My neighbor closed his bank account because they thought there checks had been stolen. I called to get information on my item at 9:53am. I was not hostile with my tone or vocabulary. However, I was meet with aggressive language and bad attitude from Joey, in Oxford Ms Postal service and I was not even able to ask my question because he already thought he knew what I was calling for. Horrible service in Oxford Ms, for no reason.

In the last month I have had problems with the USPS related to package delivery. In Hattiesburg, MS, according to the tracking number a delivery was attempted (I was there, sitting on my daughter's front porch at the time the "attempt" was made). After hours on the phone the post office delivered the next day.
Here in Oxford, the pkg. that I needed for a trip I was making, was marked as "out for delivery" according to the tracking number. I was in and out but checking for the delivery. It never was delivered and when I checked the status it said, "forwarded." I just got off of the phone with the post office and Joey said, "there's nothing we can do. The carrier could have made a mistake." Well, obviously he made a mistake!!! The problems that I have with shipping seem to always be with the Postal Service and as much as I want to support them they are often not reliable!!!!
