My package delivery date was 4/24/21 and it has been sitting in Hazelwood USPS facility since 4/21/21. It is now 5/24/21.Will I ever receive it only God knows? Maybe the name should be changed to Hazywoods enter at you're own risk because you might not be seen again.
I have a letter (not a package) mailed on 5/7/21 that has been sitting at the Hazelwood post office since 5/9/21 and today is 5/24/21. Ironically the post office it is to be delivered to is only 31 miles away. I could understand if this was due to the holiday season, however as we are also nearing the end of our pandemic, it is absurd to still be using Covid as a reason for delays. The response I received from my claim, was a canned response, and the way it was worded is hysterically funny, referencing priorities and service of the customer being their number one priority.
When mailing this, I had figured in 7-10 USPS business days, but not 17!
This is exactly why the USPS is in such dire circumstances. Moving forward will never rely upon the USPS to be able to deliver anything within a reasonable amount of time.
Going forward, will use FedEx or UPS.

You would think that with all these horrible reviews, the Hazelwood Post Office would step up and try to improve their operation. I mailed a package a month ago to go to Kentucky and it has been in Hazelwood for 12 days. It hasn't moved and there doesn't seem to be anything a person can do about it. You can't call. I have tried. I don't think the number on the website is real. It also doesn't seem as though all the negative remarks have made a bit of difference. Sad thing is, anyone sending a package out has no control over where the package ends up. The postal service may be struggling to keep afloat financially but maybe if they cared even a little about their customers they would be in better shape. No wonder I see UPS and FedEx trucks everywhere I look. I guess they care more about their customers than the post office does. And as for this particular post office in Hazelwood, Mo, they are the worst.
My daughter and I mailed a package from st. Louis on dec. 31th. It has been sitting in the Hazelwood sort office since then. St. Louis postal service is the worst I have ever seen in my life. The workers don't care and have very funky attitudes.
It seems as though the Hazelwood facility has been and continues to be a major problem. Packages lost, stolen or otherwise missing. Shipments stalled for weeks and months. Apparently no one cares. Amazing how fake Biden ballots can arrive before they are even shipped but a $50 priority package takes 4 weeks to make it 400 miles and then never updates again after falling into the Hazelwood abyss.
I mailed 2 boxes on 12/4/2020 by 2-Day Priority Mail...expected delivery for both boxes (1 going to Nebraska, 1 going to Hollister, MO) was to be 12/7/2020...as of today 12/22/20 both boxes are still in Hazelwood facility. Here are the tracking numbers:

My medication was shipped on the 10th of December. It entered your facility on the 11th. Has it gone there to die for heaven sake? It has never left your facility and today is the 22! Now I am jumping through hoops and scrambling because I have run out of my meds! Horrible service.
Thank you for your hard work at a thankless job. I too have an important package hanging out at your facility for an extended stay and at first I only felt frustration at the thought of Christmas morning with no gift for grandma. Then I saw a recent photo of a USPS distribution center with thousands up TENS of THOUSANDS of packages being frantically sorted. I can’t begin to imagine the immense pressure you’re under with an impossible job at an impossible time with people going nuts. It’s just stuff. People are more important and I pray you are made to feel valued and appreciated this year. Even if the package is a little late this year. I will bake grandma some cookies and leave a beautifully wrapped IOU. Merry Christmas!

Pandemic. People dying, workers being quarantined, people not shopping at stores to avoid catching covid so they're ordering online creating a huge surplus of packages moving through USPS. Sorting machines were removed thanks to Postmaster General DeJoy to screw up the USPS for his own financial gain (him and his wife own over $75 million in assets from USPS competitors) and to suppress mail in voting. People who expect the post office to run without a hitch this year are living in la-la land. Direct your anger where it matters, at the top. The workers are doing their best.

Won’t be wearing Christmas sweater this Christmas.
Ordered a Christmas sweater for my niece, who lives in Oak Ridge, MO. I wanted her to enjoy wearing it this year. Unfortunately, that probably will not happen, because the Hazelwood Post Office has had it since December 9th, per tracking, and must plan to keep it. Today is December 20th. Per reviews posted, this seems to be the norm for Hazelwood. Must be a one man post office with no supervisor and no post master paying attention to customer complaints.
I now have four packages that have gotten stuck at Hazelwood facility. The one has been there for ten days so far .
By reading all these reviews, they evidently don’t give two shits . About their jobs . There must be something everyone can do !
Every time i get something through the mail with a tracking number when it gets to the Hazelwood Missouri center i can count on it waiting there sometimes for as long as a week before it gets to the next destination. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I have submitted complaints about this before and seemingly nothing gets done. I'm not sure why they seem to excel at incompetence at that particular branch but they do so spectacularly!
We have had a package that was shipped two day delivery from friends two weeks ago and once it hit Hazelwood distribution center it has just been sitting f for over a week. Now I have other packages that have made it to Hazelwood and I am afraid they will just sit. I ordered in plenty of time for Christmas but if a package paid and shipped two day is still sitting, I can only imagine how long the rest will take.
I've had quite a few packages just sitting in Hazelwood for days ,why is it everything a package gets there it just sits. This ridiculous I've already had to file a report once do have to again does this location need a inspection or something.
I've had one package sitting in the Hazelwood office for two weeks, the other for ten days, and yet a third that has been sitting in KS, MO for a week as well. The postal "service" needs an overhaul. Postage refunds should be issued on any package that sits inactive, in one post office/location for more than two days. What are we paying postage for if our items are not being delivered in a timely fashion?

Looks like another package is sitting at Hazelwood post office. It’s a given every time I have a pkg come through Hazelwood it ends up missing or a month late! If you people can’t get off your social media devices and do your job then quit and let someone who needs a job that will appreciate it and actually work for their pay! The federal Government needs to shut down this postal area!
Well, looks like I'm not alone with my missing package...It's been accepted on 12/3 and nothing for over 10 days...Looks like I'll have to make a special trip over there to locate my packages or get a refund back from the USPS. Clearly something needs to be done about this location.
Had two separate items shipped and received to your facility that eventually vanished for 14 days and I still have not had any tracking updates past this. No way to contact any actual people, and no help from the online resources. About to contact Better Business Bureau for services paid but no service provided.

My absentee ballot appears on informed delivery (along with 6 other items) on 9/23/20. Everything delivered except my ballot. This is time sensitive for me. Where did it go? No one answers phone calls and no response as yet when I reported missing item during online chat with post office. Second time important document that never got delivered as well as no response after being reported as missing.

i have been waiting for some material for facemasks for a long time and in checking the last 4 days it is in Hazelton waiting on you to accept it. there is a problem if our mail service is not able to check in and send out the mail that comes through there i have 4 packages that have been there since Aug 3 with the same information when i track.. this is ridiculous
There is definitely something wrong at this location. I make tshirt quilts and a customer from Kansas mailed a box of shirts on 3/6/20. The box was suppose to be delivered on 3/9/20 and never showed. The tracking information indicated it made to the Hazelwood location. I inquired a few times thru April. They gave me a case number and obviously did nothing about looking for it. I've never heard from the again. The box still has not shown up and now I have a customer who lost a lot of memories!
One problem i see it does not open until 10 am and closes at 5pm you put lunch time in there and that is not much. they need to put on another shift until they get caught up .. the phone number i found is 1-800-275-8777

So I had a package arrive at the Hazelwood Package Black Hole on July the 1st today is July 14th. I could have walked to Hazelwood and picked up the package myself in 13 days...Im not sure whats going on at this supposed essential service providing Abyss but someone is either incompetent or a dirty thief either way someone needs to get it sorted immediately.
My package arrived nine (9) days ago, on 7/2/20, at this podunk redneck post office in Hazelwood Missouri. Tomorrow will be ten (10) days that my package is sitting there and those below subpar overpaid employees are not doing anything, obviously!!!!!! After reading several comments below, it appears this is an actual problem and someone needs to address these issues!! Those postal workers get paid way too much money to have packages lying around for two weeks before they work it.
Why does every postal delivery I am tracking ALWAYS get stuck in Hazelwood post office for days, unavailable to track? And then they are always late or do not show up at all! I have two packages stuck at Hazelwood for over 8 days. Both were UPS mail innovation packages from two separate sources. UPS says they were turned over to USPS, but USPS says they don't exist because they haven't been scanned. Hazelwood distribution center is the absolute worst. Every time I track a package, I pray it doesn't go to this place, but a third of the time it does! No wonder USPS is going bankrupt with service like this!

My package was accepted at this Hazelwood facility on June 13. It seems to be stuck there! It contains 2 photo albums of my little granddaughter. I sure hope it leaves there soon and is on its way to me. It is a gift for her.

It sounds like I am not alone. I have been waiting on two packages since May 5. It is now June 18. They have both been stalled at the Hazelwood facility since May 23. If you guys need employees to help make this a more efficient center, it seems a good time to say so. Many people looking for jobs now. Also it would be great if you hire someone to answer a phone.
I would like to know why my package is sitting in Hazelwood as long as it has been when I just live in St Clair Missouri my first package didn't take but one extra day this one is just chilling at your facility and why just why do you all do this to people do you think we blow our money on stuff for you to hang on to our packages and then stuck them in our mailboxes and damage them like a $10 pair of silk pantyhose you ruined
FedEx reported that my package arrived 3 days ago. I checked the local ID number and they don't even have it checked in yet. I've noticed that there are hundreds of people who have lost their packages. This appears to be an incredibly messed up post office.

I have a package that was mailed on 4/22/20. Stalled at Hazelwood on 4/30/20. I have filed a package search, filed a domestic claim and still nothing. . Tried calling and no one ever answers. the person who shipped it to me received the label off of the box... wants to know what's in the package... the label had 3 pieces of tape holding it on. I just want my package... what a joke!

Horrible service!!! The package was delivered all the way from oversees to be lost in one of Hazelwood offices! I can’t even file a claim because I was not the one who shipped it. After numerous calls and forms filed there’s no result!

I have had a package that was handed off from UPS to USPS. UPS says they delivered it to Hazelwood PO. I checked the USPS tracking system and it says it was never received. I think someon at the Hazelwood PO has my package at their house right now. I would love to see an official investigation happen.
After several failed attempts to talk to some, I received a working phone #. Call 314-895-9292. Don't expect too much though, my package is still missing. The tracking # says it arrived 7 days ago at the facility but they have no evidence that it actually arrived. The lady was not helpful at all, she said well it cannot actually be here because we have not scanned it yet. UPS says they have handed it off to them though. Where the heck is my package?!?!?!

Having a problem with a package that has been stuck in the Hazelwood, Mo post office for 8 days, has brought me here. Obviously there is a problem with this post office. This needs to be addressed to the Post Master general or postal inspector! Someone needs to get the ball rolling here. I can understand thru the holidays there may be delays but it appears that lack of delivering mail and packages from Hazelwood PO is constant.
I see this Hazelwood office has lots of problems. My package was supposed to be delivered June 17,2019. It's still at this post office.And the post office wonders why they are loosing business. I've tried to go thru the post office web page and that's a joke. Very poor business. Not happy here.

I ordered calendars from Lang and started tracking the package as soon as they shipped. Turns out, my package is in the Hazelwood, MO post office and I live in KY!! What is going on at this place? I have been expecting a package since last Saturday and have yet to receive it. I tried calling and only got the fax machine. I called the 1-800 number and simply found out that my package had been received at the Hazelwood post office on Dec 13 and was pending processing. That was 6 days ago. To top it all off I live in Maryland Hts. Why hasn’t it been sent to Maryland Heights for delivery, why can’t I get a straight answer or talk to a person, when am I going to get my package. This is rediculous.
Horrible service, takes forever to get mail and sometimes for days you get absolutely nothing. I have checks missing in mail because they slapped forwarding stickers on them and I have not filed a forwarding address & have lived in Hazelwood for 20 yrs... My daughter recently moved to Florissant and they are also forwarding some of my mail to her address!!!!! The phone number nobody ever answers it just rings forever. This office really needs to get their act together.
What is going on at the Hazlewood post office mail carriers. They deliver the wrong mail to for residents in my complex for other building locations. Then when we set atop the mailbox for them to take it back they will not touch it. What heck. My building have 6 prices of mail that belong to another building. I had a neighbor that saw my package envelope I been looking for set atop our. Mailbox because the carrier put it in the wrong mail slot. This is ridiculous. This is happening way to often. I Dont know if you all have hired temp workers or what. It I found know mail us sorted at the post office before it is delivered. So what is t he problem. my company mails out bills ...invoices ect from Nokomis, il. since January it seems to take 10 days to get to where they are going????? same on checks ect coming to me....and packages...one package got lost when it hit your facility....had to be resent... I am still awaiting 2 checks from clients that was guaranteed delivery 3/30....been to Nokomis po....and no mail from your facility to process???????????
I don't understand how this Post office is still operational. I have a package that was sent with the wrong zip code. That was corrected on Feb 8 2018. The package has been going back and forth between Hazelwood Mo., Carbondale Ill., and St. Louis Mo. Emails have been sent to all location and still it gets looped. Terrible, terrible service. They even blamed my post office in Morocco for not doing anything about it ,But as a matter of fact they were the only one's that did any thing about it.
How is this place allowed to remain open? What state representative need to get involved with this scam of a place before the public goes to the news because this is ridiculous. Apparently they have a major problem! Package arrived at 1:30 pm on May17, 2017 has never been scanned again and has not made it to East Peoria, Illinois yet. No need to pay for Priority Mail. A Pack Mule could have made it faster. Not a happy person. Very bad service!

This is the worst post office in the entire United States. I hate whenever my packages go through this facility because I know it will be another 24-48 hours before they get my package sent out and they rarely update shipping information

Mailed a box of mine & my children's clothing to my sisters 2 weeks ago and it has been stuck there for 11 days now. Was estimated to arrive June 2; it's now June 10th. Very upset. In process of moving so I shipped our best stuff. None of the numbers listed on this page seem to work.
I mailed my son's homeschool work and paid for priority 2-3 day guaranteed delivery on May 23, 2016. I called the local post office on Tuesday, May 31st and it shows to be sitting in this post office since May 24th. I will be filing for a refund and filing a complaint in the main office.
