Words cannot describe my appreciation and gratitude to the Postmaster and the employees of the Doniphan Post Office for all of their hard work during this recent pandemic. These wonderful people have gone over and above in getting the mail and packages to our farm during these extraordinary times. My family has to take extra precautions due to this COVID-19, as we have my wife’s 94 year old father living with us, and I have respiratory issues due to a bout with Lymphoma. Our primary care physician has essentially confined me to the farm for the duration. Telling us that it simply wasn’t worth the risk of venturing into town. After my wife made a telephone call to extremely nice folks at the Post Office, they have reached out in every way possible to accommodate us. We are receiving our medical prescriptions and forever thankful. I sincerely hope this letter gets published so the fantastic folks at our wonderful Doniphan Post Office receive my heartfelt recognition. Respectfully, David W. Shifflett Doniphan, MO cc: The United States Postmaster General Washington DC
