Our Association mailboxes have 4 lock boxes for packages. One is broken with a bent key that cannot be removed. Our mail person put a package in the broken box and left the box door wide open. What kind of stupid does it take to use a broken box that is right next to one that is working?? Residents deserve better service than this!

We have had more problems with our mail delivery in the past year+ than for the twenty six years that we have lived in our home. We have gotten other people’s mail much too often. We bring the mail to the correct mailboxes…but wonder how much of our own mail are we missing! One neighbor did bring a piece of mail to our door because it “looked important”…it was. Our mail carrier stuffs our mailbox so full that I have lost my balance pulling it out at least five times. Whatever happened to bring packages to the doorstep? The timing of our delivery is absurd. We will receive delivery between 11:30 and 2:00 P.M. for a week and then 4:30-7:00P.M. for a few weeks and then it starts all over. I know that there is something called an overtime list where carriers agree to delivering mail for all of or part of another route but shouldn’t the carrier deliver their assigned route first? I have complained through the USPS online customer service. They actually send an email reply. After a week or so they send a second email asking if we have been contacted and if the problem has been corrected by the Apple Valley office. I reply with the truth…the answer is “no” to both. I think we might do as well with the pony express.

Once again my mail is not being delivered, !3772 Glazier Ct. I have been here for 23 years and this has always been an issue. It's not the first time I have spoken up. In this this cul-de-sac, it's a running joke about the mail service or lack thereof. Nobody around here mails anything serious through their box. I stopped a carrier some years back and she told me we live on a training route. If that is the case maybe you could rotate where your training routes are to share some of this pain. Is my next stop the P.M. General?

USPS has a mandate to deliver mail in efficient and accurate way. The MN USPS service has long history of accurate, efficient and prompt mail deliver. However at Hearthstone apartments in Apple Valley there is notorious record of mail being delivered to incorrect address/mail box and/or not being received by recipient for over 1 week despite origin of post is in the Twin Cities. Please advise how you intend to fix this problem. thank you

Post office is not reachable by phone. Mail is still being delivered to our home for the previous owner who moved out 5 & 1/2 years ago. We also often get mail of neighbors. No accountability for these postal delivery people.

Zip code is listed as St Paul. This has caused numerous issues. When validating an account at Wells Fargo, they will not validate my address if I say Apple Valley (my actual address), but insist that I live in St Paul because the 55124 post office incorrectly stated that St Paul is the correct city for 55125.

I just spoke with the supervisor at the apple valley branch and she was so rude on the phone. She should not be working in the post office. She told me "I will not sit here and listen to you talk about this for 20 mins". She didn't not even want to address my concerns and told me there is nothing she can do. I paid for overnight delivery and it has been almost 2 weeks and the mail isn't still delivered and she tells me "there is nothing I can do. I will not listen to you talk about this for 20 mins". Isn't it the job of the management to listen to customers complaints? She was rude, dismissive, and so disrespectful. She should not be a supervisor of anything

The mailboxes provided by the post office are too small for packages in my townhouse neighborhood (Embassy Estates). Our association provides a package box next to each group of mailboxes for packages. Our carrier is not using it. He/she crams the package into the small mailbox. Yesterday a book I ordered was literally folded in half in order to fit. The package box was not in use and it could have been placed there. Fortunately Amazon reimbursed me for the damaged item even though it was the fault of the post office. I let Amazon know that the post office damages their items.

Around April 12-15 I did not receive a couple of Birthday Cards that had something in them..they were sent from 3134 North 10th Street in Fargo, N.D. 58102. I have talked to my regular mail carrier as well as sub that is used at times. My address is: 12062 Gantry Lane Apple Valley, MN. 55124. It is very important for me to find out what happened to them. I have recieved mail from that address several times/yr so don't understand what could have happened. What can be done to see if they are at the Apple Valley, MN post office? Thank you.

I am tired of my mail woman craming pkgs in my mail box instead of putting them in the package box.I don't get my mail every day and it is so full and packed tight that things rip and fall on the ground while trying to pull them out. Sometimes the box is jammed in so tight I can hardly get it out. Does she not get that pkgs. go in another box, not where the mail goes ? This has been going on for a year and I am tired of it. When I try to call the post office it just rings and rings and no one answers it.

I am now trying to call the Apple Valley office and no one is answering. The carrier who delivers mail to the houses on 134th St W between 6275 and 6256 has been delivering mail to the wrong house for over 9 mo. Even talking to the supervisor of the station has not done any good. These houses are far apart, the mailboxes are far apart. He or she cannot tell the difference between the house numbers and some of this is sensitive mail. The mail for 6256 is being delivered to 6275 and this problem has to stop. Speaking to the super has done nothing to solve the problem. Perhaps this carrier should be fired or taught how to read numbers.

I just moved to apple valley in August. The first few months the post office did not give us any mail because they had listed the property as vacant even though I changed my address on everything and went to the physical post office location to change my address and forward my old mail to me. This caused so many issues with bills and such. After fighting to fix that the mail carrier gave us our neighbors mail instead of ours. Then the mail carrier gave us several rude letters saying to update the names for people receiving mail at the house. I'm sorry, but you give us our neighbors mail? Of course their names our not people who live at the house. You had the wrong house. Then once we updated our names and informed the mail carrier, our mail box gets run over by the city plow. I was at work and before I even saw the mail box there was a nasty letter in the mail from our mail carrier informing us we need to have a properly standing mail box and all snow cleared so that they have access. Called the city and they came out the next day to fix our mail box. I cleared all the snow which is melting away by the second and yet have not received mail. Now I see the mail carrier just drive by our house. They don't even bother stopping at my house? What am I supposed to do but call the post office. So I am sitting here at my job calling the post office to try and get my mail. The phone has not once been answered and I have been disconnected five times. What did I ever do to you Apple Valley Post office to deserve this? I'm now moving out of Apple Valley. Horrible city. Just absolutely awful. If you are reading these reviews to find answers or determine good places to live, run far away from apple valley. Far, far away. Living here has been nothing but awful.

Last night, Easter Sunday night, about 8.30, a very nice lady delivered my mail to me, the mail was delivered to her by mistake. It was my drugs that I ordered from H. P. Thank you very much nice lady, If I get your mail I will return the favor. The only difference between my address than hers is that she lives on lower plus our address. This occurs way to much here in apple valley, I often get my neighbors mail.!! Is their job that hard?? I realize that these are people who are union employees who make a good wage and earn a great retirement policy. To me union meant a good days work for a good wage, so start doing that.!

The Apple Valley mail carrier frequently delivers mail to the wrong mail box. The boxes are all locked on our property so you can't just put them in the correct box. They blocked off the outgoing mail slot because people were using it! This was according to our mail carrier, if you can even believe that one! It isn't that surprising considering the poor service offered at the post office counter. The red headed clerk is a real B****. I don't know her from Adam but every time I have seen her at the counter, she is crabby and unhelpful. I drop off a lot of prepaid mail at the side counter and she always finds a reason to not let me leave my packages where everyone else is leaving packages. I have watched her after I was told to put my packages down the mail drop shoot, or to leave my packages on the floor in front of the counter. NO ONE else is told they can't leave their packages on the counter, they are all able to leave their prepaid packages on the counter. I have called and complained. There was a line all the way to the door and one clerk on duty. Someone rang the service bell and I heard the clerk say in a crabby voice "there is no one back there to answer". No wonder the post office is losing money. GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE. Someone needs to teach the staff customer service skills.

We moved to Apple Valley in October, and quite frankly am ready to get out, solely because of the Post Offices terrible service. We haven't received mail from Owatonna (where we moved from) and haven't received Christmas cards that my family in other STATES have gotten. But of course, there's "nothing they can do about it. B.S. Try a little harder for crying out loud. Probably doesn't help that our mail carrier wears her sweatpants and pajamas, and for the lack of workmanship probably puts our mail in a different mailbox. But why would they check? That would involve "going the extra mile", or doing their job right the first time. I respected the crap out of the mail carriers in Owatonna. Not so much in Apple Valley. Just give me the key to the properties' mail boxes, I'll do it myself.

Over the last week I have not received any mail, yet my neighbors have. I find that very interesting. I received emails from 3 vendors saying that the USPS attempted to deliver my mail. THAT'S A LIE. I am filing a FRAUDULENT CLAIM.

This postal service is awful. I keep getting packages that are on a completely different street and am having to drive to deliver someone else's packages myself. Delivering the mail and packages to someone else that keeps getting dropped at my home is very irritating and quite the inconvenience. I'm not getting paid to do someone else's job.

I am generally happy with my normal daily mail service. However over the past few months I have been receiving packages that are being left on my porch steps with clear visibility for anyone walking or driving by to see. There is NO effort being made to place packages out of plain sight. Also, I once came home to a package sticking out of my open mail box that clearly did not fit. I have been lucky so far to not experience package theft, but I am alarmed to the lack of effort to ensure delivery of packages by the carriers at USPS.
