Worst service ever. Their postmaster Jesse needs to learn basic customer service.
Called to speak with her reguarding a lazy postal worker who doesn't drop packages at homes when they are too large for mailbox. 3 1/2 years and all packages prior have made it to our garage apron up until two weeks ago.
Jesse's excuse was dogs... we have NO outdoor dogs and our indoor dogs are not outside during any of the hours mail typically runs.
This is a mystery. We own and live at our home in Mission Township and our mailing address is a PO Box in Merrifield MN 56465. We are winter residents in Sun City AZ. We receive forwarded mail addressed to our PO Box in Merrifield MN at our temporary residence in Sun City AZ. This temporary address change was completed through USPS online. However our dentist in Baxter MN has twice mailed billing to our PO Box in Merrifield MN and twice received the mailing back undeliverable. Once mailing said unable to forward-forwarding out of date. Second time returned to dentist office stamped unable to deliver. We are receiving other forwarding mail to the PO Box What is going on?
I’m Elaine Simmonds daughter. She has a post office box in Merrifield. The post master there is very rude. I had been calling for three days and it just rings and rings and rings so I had to drive 8 miles to get a package that was delivered on a Monday and now it’s Wednesday. When I arrived at the post office and told her about nobody answering the phone she said it hasn’t been working. How can a government post office not have a working phone? I then asked about the package. She found it. I said I was in Monday and there was no notice in their box for a delivered package. Tuesday my sister was in and no notice of a package delivered. Finally Wednesday upon myself returning to say it was delivered Monday she said well I put a notice in the box this morning. So I opened the box and I still saw nothing. She said she took it out upon getting the box for me. She was very rude. Had the phone been working I would not have had to drive there and someone else could have gotten it picked up. My parents are 86 & 84. My Dad needed the products that were delivered there on Monday - Monday. This is really unprofessional!!!!!!!
Please know I am making an official complaint on the post master.
And the phone should be in working order asap!!!!!!

We have concerns about our service. We personally know of two experiences when mail holds and mail forwards were not applied and mail continued to be delivered to the home for extended periods. This is not acceptable!
