The mailman is not picking up and dropping off mail on Mondays. also last Tuesday. I put mail in my box and the flag up and no pickup. This has happened two Mondays in a row!
Received a notice today that my package was not deliverable because my front door or driveway was not accessible. I'm unclear on how USPS could not access my house to delivery said package, given that my driveway is plowed and had no other cars on it, and the wheelchair ramp leading from the driveway to my front door is free of snow and definitely accessible because I have used it today several times. Additionally, no animals were present that could interfere with a delivery. There was/is nothing present to prevent access to my front door, so it appears to me that the postal worker is simply lazy and did not want to get out of their vehicle and walk 15 feet up the ramp to deliver the package to my front door. I am NOT happy about this delay. I am also not happy at the excuse given as to why the package couldn't be delivered, given that none of the reasons for "no access to delivery location" fulfilled - access to my front door was completely accessible. As someone who uses a wheelchair, I know for a fact that route was accessible to an individual, whether standing with a package or holding package in your lap while wheeling up the ramp. I sincerely hope this package is delivered ASAP tomorrow morning, otherwise I will be having a conversation with the post office.
I'd like to be able to talk to a human and not a freaking computer I keep saying agent and it keeps giving me the survey I would actually like to speak to somebody cuz if my package is sitting up there I would like to come get it
Great post office-- friendly, reliable employees, convenient location. They have kept going throughout the pandemic, despite all the challenges. Way to go, USPS!
