The Walled Lake post office won’t answer their phone, they deliver mail to old address in spite of a change of address request. Poorly run. Actually was threaten by one of their carriers 2 years ago because I planted some flowers in my garden which he claimed was in his path to the next house…told him to use the sidewalk and stay out of my garden.

Sam is a credit to your branch. Everytime I come in there he gives incredible service. I don't know what your paying him but it's not enough. He has gone above and beyond numerous time in the years i've been using this branch and it's a shame it's taken this long for me to voice it.

I live at 47644 Rochester Drive in Novi. We have not had mail delivered in over a week. The excuse is the road construction. School buses, garbage trucks, FedEx, Amazon and UPS can all still deliver, but not USPS. Why? Maybe a supervisor should do a drive through to check it out. By the way, I was at the post office in person last week to pick up a package which could not be delivered (fortunately Amazon sent me a message) and was told the person I was speaking with was a supervisor. She said she would look into the problem. Did me no good. Today, I spoke with a person from the construction company and he is also having no luck in getting the mail delivered to Mockingbird Glen. He has a lengthy email chain with a run around from USPS. The road construction is NOT the problem. Sure would be nice to get the mail in my mailbox.

Terrible service. Alerts for mail arrived in mail box and nothing there. Over and over again.

Since our individual mail boxes were changed to group boxes, twice I have been unable to get my packages. Both times someone in the postoffice has left me the key to the package box; and both times the key doesn't fit. The last time a very nice mail man opened it and brought me my packages. However, that doesn't solve the issue that your key doesn't fit. My address is 627 Winwood Circle, Walled Lake, MI 483909 - my box number is 96 and the package box is Locker 12P. I can never get a postal person to call me back or answer the phone whether I call at 9:00 a.m. or anytime after that. They play a recording states that they are transferrin call, someone will be with you in a moment and it never happens. I have a time sensitive letter that should have been delivered to my door. No postal representative came to my door and I was home all day. Second, they never made a second attempt to deliver this a.m. Again it is time sensitive, it is a legal document and I wish for someone to call me regarding this piece of mail. Terrible . They have my pkg (priority) for 4 days and everyday they post " delivery rescheduled for tomorrow"... now tomorrow AM I will go in person..

The disappointment our community has in being forced years ago to go through the Walled Lake Post Office is astronomical, to say the least. We have been ignored for years at every level of this Government organization on correcting the main issues with this Post Office. In having so many disabled elderly residents's not receiving their mail that is supposed to be delivered directly to their residence and being ignored for years. The life or death medications they are not receiving for years. Packages willy nilly being dropped off at the wrong residences. Mail never being taken from the outgoing boxes and not mail being mailed for weeks and months. They do not respond to emails or ever answer the phone. Someone needs to correct these years of torture immediately.

We have a package that has not been delivered and we are trying to find it. Called Walled Lake Post Office and they are not answering the phone.

Mailed 3 packages through this office and 1 package through Sterling Heights office. The Sterling Heights package arrived in 1 week. The 3 through Walled Lake took over 3 weeks. Not Good........

Every comment is how horrible this post office is. Is anyone ever going to do anything about it???? I have 6 packages missing from the walled lake post office. They arrived there from ups on November 23rd at 4:25. I can’t even file a lost package with ups bc the post office has them. I want my things. I will be looking into who else I need to contact to make sure the individuals responsible are reprimanded. I went into the post office yesterday to try and figure it out, there were 3 individuals in the back who were swearing and taking about inappropriate things at work while refusing to look for my packages. The line was out the door and the lady who was actually working was asking for help and they all laughed at her. This post office is joke!

I so miss our retired carrier Kenny. His replacement is being paid to do an incredible lazy and incompetent job. Today she broke our mailbox by cramming 3 weeks of mail (we had a hold)in which included medications. This person does not deserve their job. Wake up Post Master, your employees are giving this post office a bad name.

It seems quite frequently I don't get my mail that a vendor says it is arriving. Today the USPS said they had no access to my mailbox. Well the USPS has the key to all the mailboxes (they're all together) so access should not be a problem. I noticed the carrier at the other mailbox "station" and he or she was running latter than usual. A couple of hours latter. I live in Country Cousin's in Novi MI.

Terrible!!! I dropped a package off for one of my health care friends over 2 weeks ago directly into the box in front of the post office. She still has not received it!!!! She lives in Grosse Point!!! Check that mailbox!

This is the lousiest post office I have *ever* had to deal with. They routinely lose or mis-deliver packages, and their carriers leave trash when they deliver. I don't want the USPS to go under, but this branch in particular makes me wonder if that's true. How can one place employ so many people who clearly don't give a crap???

I have a certified / return receipt letter - that was supposed delivered but no at this post office updated the information; which means that I do not have the information necessary for my job. When I tried to call, I spoke with someone (remain nameless) and was told that a supervisor would get in touch with me and before they could take my phone number they hung up on me. I have not been able to reach another person since. Not at all satisfied with the customer service for this post office.

I had an item i received a notification it was out for delivery... 10 minutes later i received one saying it would be delayed. No reason why so I called the post office on Walled Lake and had someone answer initially and when I explained I wanted to see if I could just come and pick it up I was hung up on. I called back and got to someone answering and again was hung up on. Three more calls to them resulted in therm no longer even answering. It eventually just goes to a busy signal. What a bunch of crap. What's the problem with at least talking to you and giving an honest answer. I wasn't angry or negative but I am angry and left feeling negative. I have dealt with them over the years and this is by far the worst post office I have ever had to deal with, Disappointing to say the least. The biggest problem is the management is as bad as anyone there in their lack of any customer service what so ever.

My priority package with tracking was opened and retaped when I picked it up at this post office. At home I discovered that the expensive new iPhone inside had been stolen. I reported the theft and was given a phone number to call, no report taken. The number is a looped recording with no answer.

I sent my husband a Father's Day card on Thursday June 13 in my condo complex mailbox. It is now June 20th and still the card has not arrived. We have also had several days of no mail at all (which is highly unusual) I cannot understand how it could take that long for a card to arrive to us. Very poor services from the Walled Lake P.O.

This post office has the most unprofessional, unhelpful, rude employees. On three separate occasions I have had less then professional service. Last time I was there sending out certified letters, I had a question regarding it and the employee said I already told you that answer... they are not helpful if you have a problem with the ZIP Code they do not wear their nametags so you don’t know who you’re talking to, they act entitled, offer less than the lowest customer service .

It is amazing that a certified letter with tracking can be lost. Scanned in all the way from Colorado to Walled Lake Mi. Out for delivery on the tracking report yet, no arrival, no further tracking info. 2 days later no one can seem to locate where a tracked letter that needs to be signed for and scanned has gone. This is quite frustrating as I track down other people who’s mail have been delivered to my house and I have to find my mail that was delivered to my neighbors. While I vent my frustrations here I won’t file a complaint for fear my mail delivery could get worse.

We now have two days without mail - Monday and Tuesday. No reason given. Many others in the Fox Run complex have not received mail either. This is unbelievably poor service. Not a question of anyone personally not receiving mail, the mail was NOT delivered here. Would like to switch our service to Novi or any other office.

the mail box unit in front of 1625 Mariner dr. Lake village II has several broken locks....one is punched out. Can you please fix these and bill the owners for the repair. The mail service is not secure, and this needs to be addressed.

Received notice that package was left on door step, which it was not. Talked to the driver about it, and he said, " I could have left it at the wrong address", and then wanted me to look at other houses with similar address to see if it was on someone else's porch. Incredible! Called the post office in Walled Lake, at least 15 times, with no one answering the phone. So tell me how I get refunded for the cost of the goods that were in the package that THEY LOST??

Hi u guys are the best post office in the nation by far. Isnt it interesting that we only have military green po boxes civillians dont use? Well i apologize about the damn dog getting out. She can be pretty quick. If it makes you feel better she is a pain in my butt. I will try harder not to let that happen again.. sorry Josh

Mailed a package on 02/06/18 from Traverse City to Commerce Twp. address, today is 02/15/18, latest update it MIGHT be delivered by 8 p.m. this evening! Anybody want to lay bets on this unbelievable bad service? Maybe the mule died! I could have drove package down and back to T.C. in 8 hours but roads were bad. What is the excuse folks? Yours not so truly.

Now dealing with my second package that goes missing! First one was fron Canadian Drugs. One person said it was received at the p.o. Nobody else could find in. Had to reorder. Now a second one. Company i ordered it from received confirmation it had been delivered to me. I never received it. I live inside a condo and mail is inside a locked lobby. Not too many places it could go! Frustrated!

The USPS from years ago is gone. People just don't care anymore. Every time I'm supposed to receive a package that won't fit into my mailbox they use the excuse that the mailbox was blocked and they couldn't deliver. What a great excuse for laziness! I get online to reschedule the delivery date, 3 attempts (supposedly) and I still don't have my package. THE USPS IS A DISGRACE.

Waited all day for an important medical package that required a signature. My husband checked the door at 4:55 pm. At 4:56 pm I receive a text saying delivery attempted. Postman never knocked never rang door bell. This could be deadly. Clearly this is laziness and incompetence.

We are so tired of getting our mail really late. I’m talking after 8pm. I don’t know what’s going on but our mail has not been good since we lost our great mailman. Could we please get some regular times delivery back.

Packages delivered and left on our doorstep in the rain. Please stop doing this!! There is a small awning over our front door, however our packages (this morning) were left just outside the dry area in the rain! It was delivered before I left for work and after I let out my dog, so I know it was currently raining when the packages were left on the porch in the rain.

Called 6 times and no answer. Mail delivery times are ALWAYS inconsistent. This is the second time i've had them send a package out for delivery that i paid for to have intercepted and held at the post office. SO INCOMPETENT. This is Walled Lake/ Commerce Twnship. Everyone needs to be fired for the staff there clearly doesn't give a shit about anyone or anything.

Our regular carrier does a good job, but every time you get a substitute, it seems to be a disaster. Our mail arrived at 7:38pm this evening. Following, the carrier drove past our home twice at a very high rate of speed in a 25mph zone. The THIRD time he passed, it was slower, but that was only because he was using his cell phone, for what looked like texting, as he drove.

Terrible. I did not receive email for almost a week. I could not get ansers over the phone so I went to the Walled Lake, Michigan post office. I was told my mail was on hold because of a wasps nest in my mail box. There was not and has not been a wasp nest in my mail box, and there was no note left in or on the mailbox letting me know that mail delivery was stopped or no hold for any reason. I'm very disappointed at the service and angry because I missed a couple of important pieces of mail. Very, very poor service.

The postal carriers are leaving plastic straps and paper scraps in the common mailbox area. I spoke to the postal carrier today and she did not pick up the debris on the ground. This problem has been ongoing for at least a week. The postal carrier I spoke to acted as if I should not complain. The service level at this location is terrible. In addition, I get informed mail and did not receive the ValPack coupons that should have arrived 4 days ago. I would like to get "all" of my mail.

I've attempted to contact the post office via phone over a 30 minute span, calling @ every 5 minutes, to no avail. Why have the phone number. Organizations like this help support my current perception of the post office as a wasteful and dated organization that is not customer focused.

This post office has been fine for me (32yr old mom of 3 boys, one 4yrs old being with me the day tbis incident happened) until I was degraded and belittle, by another customer there because my son was messing around as I was busy taping my package up. The male post office worker did nothing to protect me and my little boy as this customer stood there yelling and being abusive and harassing me. the customer started yelling at my son threatening him to call Cps on him and talking to him with anger and acting as if it were his kid trying to make him feel afraid of getting a beaten, the male worker did nothing, I asked him if he is just going to allow this man to talk to a woman and little child like that because a kid is being a kid and testing his limits and doesn't know better. As well as delayed and has a possible disability. The worker told me he agreed with the customer and wouldn't do and did nothing about it. The customer was so ignorant he actually thought and threatened to call the cops on me because my son messing around at the counter and the cops would arrest me. I am disgusted with this place. Wtf is wrong with ppl.. what a loser garbage old idiot and a dumb ass for a postal worker. Apparently these men both hate kids and women.

I live and novi and have to put up with this crappy office. I have a package that has stopped being updated with the tracking number online, have called the office 8 times to try and find out where my package is, seeing that two days ago it arrived in Michigan so it should have been delivered to my house by now. The office did NOT answer their phone ONCE. My mail in constantly shoved in my mailbox, ripping envelopes and half the time doesn't show up everyday. This location is pathetic.

I live in Commerce Twp, we have had reward cards not delivered. I had to call and reorder. We had items not delivered and could not reach the post office to get help finding our items. Worst service ever never had and issue in Highland. So disgusted with Walled Lake Postal service. We need our own competent post office. This is terrible. They need to get good service and do a decent job. I hope all workers get fired and they start over.

I live in Novi 48377 but am forced to deal with the incompetent Walled Lake Post Office for my mail delivery. I had an important package that was supposed to delivered December 31st 2016. Four Days later the USPS tracking claimed my package was delivered to/in my mailbox on January 4th 2017. I have checked my mailbox every single day since the 4th and there is no sign of my package. I've tried to call numerous times to the Walled Lake Postal Office to no avail - they never seem to answer their phones. It is ludicrous. I am at my wits end. I can't get any help from the main USPS.com either.

Mail is never consistent. It is sometimes delivered in the afternoon, sometimes late at night, NOT AT ALL most of the time, and even late on Sundays. I have reached out to the postal service with no reply. We also have had missing mail and missing checks.

I am writing a complaint!!!!! The delivery of our mail is pretty bad! We are in Simmons Orchard and we are receiving our mail at least at 10 at night. We have vitamins and medicine delivered and it sits in there all night. We get mail that is 10 days old. I received a mail with a discount to a store and it expires today. We constantly get our neighbors mail. Very incompetent mail deliverer!!!!! I tried calling the Walled Lake office and no one answers the phone and then suddenly it's a busy signal!!!! We used to get our mail delivered at 2 or 3 in the afternoon now it 6 or 7 and now it's past 9 at least!!! I would like something done about this ridiculous mail delivery.

I live in commerce twp but in the walled lake postal service. We are located in Mystic Forrest sub off of commerce and Bernstein. On numerous occasions mail is delivered to the wrong people and then we run around the sub correcting the carriers mistakes. They delivered my sons Bday present to another address and I only got it a month later after the recipient got back in town. We constantly track packages and they are not delivered on time. Numerous complaints have been made but the results are still the same. The carrier is incompetent and continues to deliver mail to the wrong addresses. I absolutely dredd ordering packages that are delivered usps. Your service is atrocious. People need to loose their jobs so something can change. I stopped using usps and use ups or FedEx to avoid issues. Even if you took my packages for free I would still never use you. Good job!!!

I put a mail stop in for next week. Mail stopped this week. What about getting my bills done BEFORE I leave for vacation? Now I will spend my Saturday trying to undo the mail stop that started too early. Miserable!!

Have called numerous times complaining of receiving mail that belonged to others in the neighborhood, receiving my mail from neighbors that was delivered to their address, and not receiving mail. Nothing changes....only gets worst. Also receiving mail from the past owner that has not lived here in 5 years! Can't they read? Sent back with "returner to sender, no such person at this address" only to be redelivered to me a week later. Really?

So frustrating, put a "forwarding mail" request on-line to start in 2 weeks. Then my mail stopped right away ahead of schedule. Called P.O. and woman there was rude and telling me that mistakes happen and my carrier was sorry. It will take a month to get my mail forwarded back. When I inquired as to how long this would all take, she told me I had been yelling at her the whole conversation. Almost comical if not so pathetic. Wish I could have my mail at the Novi location, especially when I live in Novi!!

Several mails were returned to sender. I used this address more than 2 years. I don't know why.

I had two occasions where the carrier will just throw the "sorry we missed you" ticket in the mailbox without even knocking or ringing the doorbell. Both occasions I had to stay home for. Work to sign for the items and both occasions the didn't even attemp me and just simply left the ticket in the mailbox.

Waited weeks for a package. Needed it for vacation. Have the tracking #. Walled Lake postal carrier can not read. She couldn't find address and returned it to sender! Would love to have Novi post office back. My address is Novi!!

Magazine that's supposed to be delivered on Thurs. or Fri. doesn't show up until Tues. or Wed. of the next week, so all of the information is useless.

I agree with Linda who commented below. I just waited all day for a package containing my phone that was to be overnighted to me... And looked outside and there is a note saying there was no one home to receive it. Now I have to pack my two young children up in the freezing cold to go pick up the package.. Without a phone... Even though I was here ALL day!!!!!!! It would have been nice if someone rang the doorbell or knocked??

Unbelievably incompetent, slow, mail delivery! I paid $50 for an overnight delivery. Got the tracking number and had a text sent as the package progressed. I purposely stayed home to make sure I got the package and got a text that said a notice was left because there was no one to authorize signature. Unbelievable!
