How do you speak to a live person during business hours? I've been trying repeatedly to contact someone to report non-delivery of parcels to no avail. I have signed up for advance notice tracking and have received notice that two packages (small) were left "in or at the mailbox" on January 28, 2022 at 11:13 a.m. (tracking # 9400116901689111012736) and on January 29, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. (tracking # 4204909784769200190314715501019817). I have NOT received any parcels/packages and need to report this. What else is missing? Where are my packages?

I just spoke to the local postmaster, Victor? , we are a business in Vicksburg, I asked why over the past few months our mail comes close to 6:00pm after the office is closed, he said he would not change drivers routes to accommodate us. I told him we get parts and send parts USPS and it puts us behind a full day. Victor said Too Bad, Last time I checked I think Victor is paid by Tax Payers, very rude. Our company Pays taxes to Vicksburg, Schoolcraft, Michigan, and the Federal Government. Needless to say we will be sending all our mail thru our PO Box in Schoolcraft, they are the best over there, very helpful, friendly, and the bend over backwards to help. What a difference a few miles makes???

Poplar Lane is a private road with a posted Speed of 10 MPH. I watched our carrier go by at no less than 40MPH again today as I have witnessed several times before. They leave skid marks when they slam on the breaks to stop at mailboxes, damaging our road. I have tried to call several times to ask them to slow down, but no one ever answers.

I have been a postal customer in 49097 for over 35 years now.I have never seen so much incompetence in my life. Mail is a personal matter and can be coincidental. We continue to receive other people's mail, the sad part is the carrier will not pick it back up, even when you put up the flag up. (do they not know the flag means?) How do these people get and keep these jobs. Have some pride in your work, quality should be your main objective!!! We pay good money for your service. My spouse is fairly new to this zip code and never had these types of problems at the old zip codes. VICKSBURG needs to be revamped and get some new competent help that can do the job right.. Do they have a postmaster??? If it don't get fixed I WILL go higher up the chain. with evidence of the incompetence! WHERE IS MY MAIL GOING? Concerned tax payer!!

I've lived in the Vicksburg Post Office service area for about 25 years. I have NEVER walked out of this post office feeling confident they have their finger on the pulse of what a post office is supposed to do. Vicksburg Post Office closes for an hour for "lunch" because they are unwilling to "stagger" in house staff apparently. This post office is incapable of processing a hold mail properly, and they seemingly have little desire to serve the incoming customers most of the time. A long line of customers is usually met with disdain and stress. Though text message from USPS direct a customer to come to the post office to pick up two packages, the customer is told "the packages that have come in haven't been sorted yet" and advised to come back the next day. I will take ALL possible future USPS business to nearby Schoolcraft, MI to avoid having to deal with the incompetence and lackadaisical attitude I encounter in Vicksburg when I have to go TO the post office....(like mailing packages, buying stamps etc.)

I had two "attempted" deliveries today that couldn't be delivered. Neither of these packages needed to be signed for, so there was no reason they should not have been left in my mailbox or at my doorstop. Furthermore, there was no notice left and there wasn't even a mail truck that stopped by today. We've been at home ALL morning in the living room - so we didn't miss something. This is absurd and not the first time it's happened. You're paid to do a service and you can't even pretend to do it correctly. Instead you just write that you've done your job so that someone else has to clean up the mess later. This is wildly unprofessional and inappropriate.
