We Have not been receiving our paper or mail. What is going on?

We had a family emergency that we needed a piece of mail before it was sent out. We arrived as soon as the poste office opened and were told they wouldn't get it basically because they didn't want to take the time to do it. Called right after we left the building to see if they would say something different if they thought I was someone else, and they had a new excuse the the truck was already out. When no time had passed since I last talked to them. This is the first time dealing with the staff being difficult and unwilling to help
