I have had packaged delayed for weeks now, one update claimed they tried to deliver but couldn’t get to my mail box. I was home, no one came by at all, then another update saying they left delivery instructions, there were none, which is odd seeing as I thought they could get to my door? Packages have been sitting at the post office and not being delivered. Some are time sensitive. They keep giving excuses that in some cases are flat out lies. Terrible service
This post office has terrible delivery service. I have stopped my newspaper service and am lucky to see mail twice a week. Some postal letters and bills take 15 or more days to arrive. I have a postal app and can see what should arrive and, in many cases, I never receive items, not even when I go to the post office personally to try and get them.
I bought a gift from Amazon. I received a message at 8:30 in the morning that it couldn't be delivered because the mailbox was full. That was a LIE. The mailbox was not full. I've heard the postal worker does this all the time. Shame on him for being lazy and not doing his job. He should be fired.
I sent two packages from my local post office which, I was told, would be delivered Saturday 01/03/2026. Both were sent Priority Mail with signature required upon receipt. Both packages arrived at the Iron Mountain, MI USPS branch at the same time but, only one was delivered. The other sat at the post office until Monday 01/05/2026 and was NOT delivered as the USPS tracking site indicated it would be.The reason given was that there was no one available to sign for it. Funny, there were two people home and awake and they told me nobody rang the bell. I admit the box was large and weighed 38 lbs. but, I paid $99.10 to have it delivered. I did not pay to have my friends go to pick it up. Since the first package was delivered, I'm at a loss to understand why the second package wasn't or why the carrier claimed nobody was home. This kind of service helps explain why the Iron Mountain, MI post office has only a 2.5 star rating.
Have only been receiving mail 4 or 5 days a week for some time. Was told at the post office that they were ordered no to deliver parcels. I had to go the office to pick up our mail and still only received a couple of past mews papers.
My pharmacy mailed my prescription on 11/22/23. It is now11/30/23
and I received notice my package was undeliverable. There was no one home to provide signature. Which is a crock of shit someone was home all day. Nobody bothered knocking on my door. When I was notified that my package was undeliverable, I attempted to pick it up at the Quinnesec Post office I couldn't, the letter carrier didn't even bring the package with her. She just took the undeliverable notice with her .and left the package at the Iron Mountain Post Office.. The neat thing is it's a Prescription that requires refrigeration. It's usually packaged to withstand 5 days from the date of shipping. It's now been 8 days and I can't pick up until Friday 12/01/23 making it 9 days. if i get sick from taking medication that went bad I will sue the postal service. The postal service is a joke. It wouldn't know good service if it jumped up and bit them in the ass. They are a Pathetic Bunch Of Losers
Better stop remove my post ..one rude nasty not willing to even do job but trying to pick u men n not work n refused to check n then they changed it online the routing ECT lies n had doper not delivery that just sorter take to my post office after doctored routing n wasted me all day n 20 in gas
I was supposed to receive 2 packages ( 9205590142744515535196, 9374810912401692321743) today 2/21/23. In checking my “arriving today log” from the post office it stated that the 5196 package was
“undeliverable” while the second package was still going to be delivered. The notification I received came at 5:56 AM. The mailman has not been here at 9:00 AM so there is NO way my mail could be determined as “undeliverable”. My road is open and delivery could have been made. How can this happen?
I ordered a package a month ago for Christmas. I understand the post system is overwhelmed, but I haven’t gotten any notification since Iron Mountain. No “in transit” no “processed”, nothing. No idea where my package is, or if it has even left Iron Mountain. Not sure if this is an Iron Mountain issue because they didn’t process the package or not, but that’s the last place the package was...over 10 days ago. So much for giving my family gifts for Christmas.
Very upset. My doctor nailed my prescription on the 17th of November and it was due to fill on 27th. As of right now the 28th my prescription has not been received by post office. I had to cancel my 6 day holiday trip with my son and am out of my medication with no hopes of getting an answers till Monday. This is horrible and disturbing. No answered or reason mail from Kingsford Mi to Iron mountain should take more than 11 days. What happen to the mail gets delivered thru rain, snow or sunshine. So disappointing to know something this important to me happened with no one taking responsibility!!!!
Sent my granddaughter a Christmas card, and see never received it. She moved which I didn't know, so if the card wasn't forwarded to her new address why wasn't it sent back to me as undeliverable?
