Frustrated because we sent a package on 12/5/2018. We asked specifically about the time frame and if extra postage would be needed to ensure timely delivery. We were told no because it would get to location (Europe) in 5-10 business days. Questioned it again because of the holidays but we’re assured that was a good time frame. Sent it out. They received it 1/8/19. It never left the Chicago hub until 12/18/18. Basically it left Chicago in 5-10 business days. Better informed employees would be nice. We look to your business knowledge because we don’t do this on a daily or regular basis. This was the first time we had to send something over seas.
The worst post office on the planet!!! The last year+ has seen mail delivered to the wrong address, late, or not at all. Someone has been getting some of my mail and I've gotten some of theirs. If it comes to me I either get it to who it's supposed to go to, or put it back in the mailbox for the postal person to deliver the next day. Calling the post office does NO GOOD. I have a letter floating around out there from 2 miles away that was sent on 12-19-18...and I still do not have it.
No mail delivered yesterday. I called and was told he is finishing his route this morning. Sometimes mail gets delivered after 6pm. I wander where he puts the mail he doesn't deliver. I didn't get my cable bill this month or my VS bill. Hmm ðŸ˜’
Very rude and condescending employee. When attempting to apply for a passport was informed that they require appointments and pointed out one group made an appointment and another was there with no appointment. When I mentioned that the website indicated that they don't require appointments while others do, he said they have tried to change it for 5 years (?!). They have a banner outside the building advertising they accept passport applications - perhaps they should amend it to say *by appointment only. We had the gentleman behind us in line comment on the employee's attitude as we were leaving.
