Our regular postman is great, does a very good job, but sometimes he has a substitute and that person goes through and put mail in whatever mailbox he/she feels like. It happened yesterday. My mom's mail went to neighbors and I got mail for a Carol and different last name, that lives way far away from my house. Last year we had some important taxes that never arrived and had to pay hundreds in late fees. Is someone drinking on the job. I quit mailing stuff from my box and pray my bank statements and credit card bills don't get lost.

I called to try to figure out some information about when I can pick up a package that I had mailed to my in-laws Lake house that I later found out was not deliverable. When I called the local number someone answered the phone and immediately interrupted me telling me he was the only one there and he couldn't answer any questions. I told him I had been on the phone with someone from the main postal service and they had said a supervisor is there until all of the carriers are back and asked if I could please speak to them. He told me again he was the only one there and that I would have to call back on Monday. I asked him what time on Monday was the earliest I could reach a supervisor and he said 8am. I then asked for his name to which responded with "hanging up" on me.... except he didn't and I could hear him in the background saying "he was f@$&*+? done" to which another person asked what was wrong. So obviously at this point I know that he was not the only one there. He replied that some lady had called and all she did was say "but, but, but" when he told her that nobody else was there so he hung up on her. I don't believe that this is the kind of service that the postal system wants to be known for. I will be reaching out to management on Monday.
