Today, Dec. 20, I went to get the mail and found a large package jammed into my mailbox so that the door could not be closed. With all the reports of packages being stolen, this was like putting a flashing light and sign saying steal me. Never had this happen before so not sure what's going on at Hastings U.S.P.S.

Today is 5-12-2018. The day the postal carriers were set to pick up can goods for the poor. We took the time and effort to place food up by the box for pick up, but our mail carrier is too lazy to take it. They left a good deal of junk mail, but couldn't be bothered to take the goods. I have no idea how many are on this route, nor how many participated. I do know if even 10 people put out food that was refused, that's a lot of food that won't go to the needy. Thanks for nothing.

I called and no one picked up the phone. I called at 4:00pm No help at all. Thanks for nothing

I live on the Hastings, MI Tanner lake rd route. I am 70 years old and am made to pick up my mail after dark because my mail person slacks off all day. Today they left mail at 8 minutes after 6 pm. I was expecting important mail and had to go up well after dark. I nearly had a fall on the way back. Nearly every single day it comes after 5. The only time it comes in the daylight hours, is if someone else delivers. The Jeep guy with the bald tires leaves the mail right around 3pm when does it.
