We have been disappointed in our mail delivery for the past couple of weeks. It comes VERY late--sometimes as late as 7:00. And twice now we have not received any mail at all, which is almost never the case for us. This has been true when our flag was up for mail to be picked up, which was also frustrating.

Mail put into the boxes in the parking lot seem to have less than a 50% chance of making it to the destination. They don't come back based on the return address, and the address to which they are sent seldom receives them. It seems most go to the dead letter office; or never are removed from the boxes.

Ada post office must have the most incompetent people working there!!! If packages are supposed to be delivered to Ada and Ada post office receives the packages, why would you send them to Zeeland to be delivered. This is just one of many issues that I have experienced in the last 20 years living in Ada.

So, here is the review and too bad it is not read by postal employees. I forwarded my mail as I was going to be out of country for a while. The post office forwarded for 4 of the 6 months and then informed people on my street that my mail would be shredded if I didn't pick it up. They, according to the town office, also informed the town that I no longer lived in my house and my home exemption was briefly removed--until I found out what was happening. I renewed my license plate--guess what happened to the tags--you got it, returned to the state as I no longer live in my house or, apparently, drive my car. What is going on here? Thought big brother did not live at the post office. Perhaps just delivering the mail as requested might be a good option--less time to meddle in other peoples affairs.
