I work at Kenway Composites in Augusta, Maine. The gentleman who delivers our mail is PHENOMENAL! He’s always helpful with larger packages, he’s always polite and professional! Don’t know his name, I always call him “buddy”. Please recognize the person who does this route. Thank You
many a lost package coming from and going into augusta.... file complaints with usps 800 numbers.... but.... when they contact us a week later, they say even they cannot contact anyone in augusta....
....and to boot..... i'm just back from the western ave location.... which acording to this web site, the sign on the door, and other on line sources is open on saturdays from eight to one.... but at 11:00 am.... all windows were closed with no explination.....
sad... just sad..... i know everyone says no one wants to work post covid..... but when we pay taxes and fees for shipping packages.... can go to ups or fedex for some things.... but the post offices inability to be open, to deliver mail.... just sad.....
It seems we are headed for third world status as I have not gotten mail for 4 days.I wonder if they are responsible for any late fees because bills not delivered in a timely manner. It seems everything our government touches they screw it up.This outfit the only business that increase prices and cuts back services. The management should be fired and workers probably have a cure for substandard service.
If you think that's what defines third world the you much be very educated about life!!! Hope you mail comes on time!! Have a blessed day.

Do I have to pay for my mail to be delivered every day ? I’ve missed a doctors appointment because I only get my Mail delivered 1 or if I’m lucky 2 a week . I’m really getting sick of this I’d file a complaint but nobody answer’s the phone at the phone number that’s listed. Can somebody please get back to me
Have been calling daily to try and find out if I can extend my PO Box for 2 months not a whole 6 as I am going to be moving where I can get mail delivered and no one ever answers the phone. I even emailed the post master listed on the website with no return email from them asking the same question. Customer service has gone down the drain the last year or so at this location.
Good Morning,
I sent an overnight Priority mail from my self to my granddaughter, who is in Augusta.I have been sending her USPS Priority packages for 2 months, they were ther the next day.My phone stated it would be delivered today!!! Then ,I get a text that the pkg. is at the Augusta Maine Post ffice.I take time to look the phone number up,a man answered I explained the issue to no avail. He stated, that it would (probably) would not be delivered today!
SOOOO, I pay for overnight shipping,it was not the first time..and ..Sooo ,who dropped the ball here?? How are we expected to trust The United States Post Office?? To add insult to injury, the man that answered gave the impression..who cares?? The apathy was appalling.I would of driven the 25 miles myself, but I actually,go to work..and give 100%.Shame!
I had ordered an item for a Christmas gift and paid expedited shipping. The item was supposed to be delivered to me on the 18th and saw with tracking on USPS that there was a delay and it’s now the 22nd. My item is a Christmas gift and I received this morning that my item had arrived at Your Augusta post office location. I called the Augusta post office at 8:28 am and a man answered, I asked him if he could look up a package for me to make sure if my package would arrive to me or if it was being routed back to the shipper due to an incorrect zip code entered. The guy was rude he was not helpful and he didn’t even try to look up the package for me. Without getting my tracking number to even know anything about my item, the guy just said all packages were on the delivery truck and for me to call him at night or in the morning, I said what will you do differently when I’m calling you in the morning and you’re not even doing anything for me! That guy shouldn’t be working in customer service when he lacks in wanting to help customers and shouldn’t have that type of job!
Truly disappointed. Our carrier did not deliver mail for 5 days without any notification. After spending time going to the post office and waiting for our mail, found out it was due to there being 6-10 inches of snow that were shoveled. This was in a 4 foot by foot area max and only required one step into the snow. We live in Maine. This was not an instance where there was a snowbank or a dangerous situation. Even more concerning is the lack of professionalism, as the carrier did not notify any of the businesses and just simply stopped delivering because of this little bit of snow.
