Our delivery person makes comments that are very unprofessional all the time. Like to my son " you all must be rich cuz I am delivering her daily" or husband " wish I had your all a money. You must be rich". No we aren't rich and second even if we were it's no his place to make comments. Third he doesn't deliver here daily maybe once or twice a wk at most. Even then he doesn't know what is in those packages. We own a family business too. Of course we will get supplies here. But to make comments like this is very unprofessional to say the least. It's his job to deliver packages. He is paid to do so. Just like I pay for the shipping charges on those packages. Not to be commented on EACH and every time he delivers something. Does he say that when he delivers at business offices ?? No different. Our business is ran from our house. I am also disable which means I do a lot of our shopping for our personal and business needs online since I can't drive or get around good enough to deal with stores and stuff. I feel postal workers should be held to a standard also. He arrives to my house to deliver packages with his radio blaring as loud as it can go the whole time. My son and others who have walked up to met him to get our stuff also have said a terrible smell comes from his car also. Some of our packages even have that smell on them. I can't tell you what the smell is exactly but I can tell you it makes you want to take febreze to the car and also him. It's that bad. I do not want to call post office since we live in such a small town and if something is said to post master it could cause a issue with our packages or mail by him. There isn't a email to send note to local post master either of this problem. I am not the only one on our street who has noticed something off with our post man and the smell coming from him and his car. Something should be done to show respect for your job and show respect for USA since this is a branch of our government period. There are plenty out here who would love his job if he doesn't like what he does or can't hold himself to be respectful and professional at all times along with friendly too. Each time he delivers packages he acts like it's a huge hassle for him. Even tried to get me to sign that we would pick up all packages cuz he didn't want to come to us which isn't far off his route to begin with. Then when they started Saturday and Sunday delivery of packages just recently they really tried. Even filled form out for me and had it to where all I had to do was sign. No we didn't sign because that is what they are paid to do and our tax dollars go towards. It's just really sad. Our UPS driver is super friendly and professional and always is helpful. He delivers a lot more then the post man does even with mail and is paid a lot less also. If they can be held to a standard so can a government employee too. Very disappointed. Hope it changes.
