I mailed something from the Leonardtown Post Office on August 17. It took EIGHT DAYS for the letter to be returned because the Post Office couldn't find the court house that is just over a block away. Terrible

Why is the lobby locked? I wnent by last nite to check my PO box and couldn't get in. They weren't going to open until 7:30 this morning, unfortunately, I have to leave at 7 to get to work on time and don't get home until after 6. How long will this go on?

On September 21st 2013 I went into the Leonardtown post office to mail several important papers that were associated with my college work. The woman who helped me at the front desk was very nice and helpful. She answered any question I had and helped me step by step with the mailing process. However, I called back to this establishment shortly after I left because I had forgotten something. The woman I spoke to on the phone was not the same woman who helped me at the front desk. This woman continued to pick up the phone and put me back on hold several times. When I finally got the chance to tell her about what I had forgotten, she acted very rudely towards me. She stated, "This is unreal to me, I have a lot of stuff to do right now and you want me to go look for that?" After this she put me on hold once again. When she got back on the phone I expressed to her how very upset I with this and I apologized for bothering her. Then she said "Well you can come back and look for it, I just cant do that right now, this is ridiculous." Once again she put me on hold but this time I hung up the phone. Her customer service was very poor and it honestly ruined my whole day. I understand that her job my be overwhelming and stressful but there was no reason for her to speak to me that way. I definitely will not be visiting this post office again. Lastly, the woman I spoke to on the phone needs to take some pointers from the woman that helped me at the front desk because she was awesome!
