FREDERICK POSTAL SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I HAVE A PACKAGE JUST LAYING SOMEWHERE IN THE POST OFFICE SINCE 8 DAYS AGO! WAS TO BE DELIVERED 4 DAYS AGO BY 8PM AND I STILL DON'T HAVE IT. NO ONE ANSWERS PHONE TO CONTACT PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY GET TOO MANY COMPLAINTS!

Handicapped Grandson not receiving his mail. I live in VA and my mail to him is being returned to me with label reading Return to sender unable to forward. I entered tracking # response Alert moved. Left no Address Frederick, MD 21701. My Grandson did not move. Local post returned mail to Frederick, MD . With overnight delivery for one package and the returned package. My grandson is handicapped & contacted local Frederick post ofc but to no avail. As of this review still has not received. He received mail for past 3/4 years and recently this past August. I am worried.

Expecting a package and when I checked on the tracking saw that the package was at Frederick post office on Sept. 16, but on Sept. 20 showed that it was now at a post office in Fairfield, CA and is now in Oakland, CA. Want to know why it is now on the other side of the US?

To the Postmaster: FYI - and could you please make your employees aware of the following problem. Mail to and from GERMANY In Germany the postal code is always in front of the name of the town/city. I've added the "DE-" to the German postal code, (DEeutschland), as the US Post Office keeps sending our mail to and from the States with Zip Code "21709" to Frederick, Maryland - which is the correct Zip Code for Frederick, Maryland. without the "DE". For what it is worth, and despite it being required of all international mail, the country name "GERMANY" should be capitalized. Sometimes even that doesn't matter one whit to the US Postal Service in Frederick. They send letters, packages, etc., back to you with "No such address"; "Person unknown"; "Mail was refused". I think we've heard it all, see it all. I know it is shocking to the Postmaster but the postal code 21709 is not - yet - copyrighted to Frederick, Maryland.

Friends, I have lived here for over 23 years now and the mail service has gotten worse... torn open/missing mail, mail crammed into our locked boxes so tightly that we can't pry it out from our side, not getting mail some days at all...take the time to call 800-275-8777 and make your complaints known. I did this due to poor service at my job and they do actually respond once the postmaster gets the message. Try it!

I live in the Spring Ridge development and our mail deliver drives thru on Saxony Ct and Dresden Lane so fast I am very concerned about our neighborhood children please do something to take care of this issue before something terrible happens to one of the children thank you

I have one hour calling your regular number and no answer. A UPS package said to have been delivered yesterday. it wasn’t! been calling for two hours now, no answer. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Very upset that I received a 1/2 of an envelope, card and contents that my mom had sent from Mt.Airy to Frederick. The other half is nowhere to be found. Very upsetting during this state of emergency that my mom couldn’t even mail an Easter card and scratch offs to us since we all can’t be together to celebrate.

Terrible my experience. I sent 5 packages on December 20 Friday ,2019 evening( just past last month) . I did not know The black lady in customer service scan only 3 packages and skipped 2 packages. After I went out from the post office building I notice that the receipt was not corrected. the door was closed, so I went back tomorrow to ask why it was not scan. but They refused to answer my question and yelled me very rude , then threaten me they will call police if I not leave from the building. I was shock . I explained then to check where is my 2 packages locate and it need to get before Christmas. That lady was still there and refuse to listen and saying that I sent only 3 packages. they threaten me acouple times they will call police.The old white guy yell me very very rude. One guy said I need to come back next Monday. I went home very sadly. On Monday Dec 23rd ,I went back to post office to talk some one who can resolve my issue. Then I met with one guy who listen my question and He said he found 2 medium flat rate priory boxs are sitting long time with out stamps from last weekend. So they can not sent to anywhere with out stamps. See how they did my packages skipping scan and hid some where by purposely. I said they are mine. one white old guy and one black lady are not respect to a customer , lie what they did, yell like animal, refuse to confess,talk to customer very rude all the time with never have smiling face. I want to suggest they need to find another job. I sent my missing packages again and My Christmas decoration stuff from those box are arrive very late after Christmas. How sad I am and receiver. I never forget what happened on me that day. Never Never. I will write a complain letter soon.

I just moved to Fieldpointe apartments and when they gave me the key to the mailbox, I could not get the key in. It seems like the lock has been jimmied so many times. I have 5 mail pieces that says in Informed Delivery was received, and I never have received them. Waiting for an Amazon card and Cash app card that I have yet to receive. Yes, I am going to the post office personally this weekend and put in a formal complaint.

Frederick Post Office delivery operations is lacking!! Medication delivered on 6/27/2019 according to the USPS tracker but no meds in my mail box. Second, my mail has has on several occasions been placed in the wrong mailbox. Third, I've called 301-624-8050 nearly a dozen times throughout the day and no answer. I'm going back to a UPS mailbox!!

US PS Frederick location has lot of problems . First they never pick up the phone. It will ring and ring and then go to a busy signal . I have called for weeks trying to find status on a package that they misdelivered to wrong address. This is a fact. I did get a call from them prior stating that they admit their carrier delivered to wrong address &trying to locate it . They told ME to call them if I received it . Never received the package. So I went to the post office talk to a supervisor she gave me her cell phone number. I texted her she said she’s looking into it . Then never responded back after that . This was over a month ago . Now we wait on a letter that requires a signature . Went online set up for them to re-deliver. I’ve been waiting here ALL day for them to do so. The mail person never came to my door, but I just found my mail ,minus the letter. Oh and a note in box . The note claiming that they attempted delivery to get the signature which they did not ! In addition we often get the wrong mail and my neighbors will get my mail . Need some serious help here at this location !

At quarter to 6 pm here on June 26th my out-going mail has not been picked up. This is maybe the 4th time this has happened in the last two years. I used to work at the Post Office and this was completely unconscionable then, but perhaps not now. Why might that be?

Postal service is getting worse, not better. There needs to be an investigation of this operation in Frederick. Mail not delivered, carriers lying about attempted delivery, mail regularly delivered to the wrong address.

USPS is horrible. We are a business and they have not come by here to pick up mail or deliver mail since Thursday (are were open Friday, Saturday and today? This is ridiculous and horrible customer service. I rely on mail with insurance reimbursement checks to pay my staff and bills. My office is literally 1 block from the post office in downtown Frederick and can't come in 3 days!!! Really?

We have experienced extremely slow delivery regarding our mail service. This has resulted in several late charges due to late delivery of our mail. This has been a problem with several residents of our community (Bainbridge Jefferson Place). We recently mailed out several bills that took over five weeks to be delivered. Your attention to this important issue would be appreciated.

The Frederick post office is horrible! It has lost 5 packages of mine. I put them on the outgoing mail basket in my condo and they are picked up but never scanned in. Also, packages don't arrive from online stores. Even when I am informed that a package is out for delivery it doesn't arrive. I am so frustrated with the Frederick, MD post office. Why are they do incompetent?

I live in Frederick, Maryland in Public Housing and my mail is not being delivered properly. Either I don’t recieve it and it’s going to other addresses. Also tried to call the phone number to speak with someone concerning my issue and no one answers the phone during business hours and I am disabled and can’t always get to the Post Office. The Service needs to be modified to assist people with disabilities and maybe it’s just a matter of someone being available to answer the telephone in order for the customer to ask questions and in order to resolve any issues people have with the United States Postal Service.

Dear Postmaster of Frederick (Maryland): As an FYI: This concern is going to be escalated within USPS HQ as it may be a federal violation. On several (5 definite) occasions mail, mainly packages, has arrived at our home already opened. On two of the occasions content was already removed. Either you get a grip on your Post Office & Mail Handling Protocol or concerned citizens, such as myself, shall be sure to utilize another freight forwarding organization (UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.). Furthermore, I'd like to see what some of our newly elected Public Officers think of what is transpiring under your watch and within their city boundaries.

As promised the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General (OIG) has been contacted and an investigation is pursuing. I had a package to be delivered NLT 20 December and neither the merchant or the freight forwarding service knows what USPS is up too. No worries I shall continue to send relentless notes until this bs is resolved. More importantly if, and when, I can avoid you I shall. Pathetic; yet sad!

For three weeks already I have been receiving phone calls regarding that my mail is being returned to main central post office because delivery person is not finding address. I have confirmed with all address on file for Mabel Salas 2509 Shelley Circle unit 2A Frederick, MD 21702 I have confirmed my addressed with USAA, Citibank, American Express, and other medical important information. I live in Frederick, Md 21703 For the last two weeks, the postal delivery has been either late evening or not existent. My bills are being held up due to no delivery pick up from my mailbox. I put the flag up on my mailbox when I have mail to be delivered and it is NOT PICKED up! What is the problem with mail delivery and pickup in 21703. This is very frustrating and I want to sue the Postsl Office in Frederick, Md for not picking up my MAIL. There was no Delivery or Pickup on Monday, October 16, 2017. Why, it was NOT a holiday!! What is going on?? Something needs to BE DONE!!

I was to receive my package today so checked the tracking number and it said my item a watch costing over 260.00 was delivered at 4:51pm it was not at my back or front door or mail box so I did not receive my item as stated this is the second time in 3 months this has happened this is just bad bad service we have a new mail carrier he is the worst I have ever had in my 58 years on the earth fire this guy he is either stealing items or not delivery items properly I live in zip code are21703 fire this guy I want to get my damn mail like I use to this is sad .

The postal service left a bag asking for food donations, saying the bag would be picked up Saturday, May 13. At 8:00 AM Saturday I put the bag of food beside my mailbox, as instructed on the bag. It was never picked up. The mail was delivered Saturday but the food was not picked up.

This post office SUCKS. My husband had an important piece of mail sent as "priority" express shipping from the MVA & the postman tried only twice, a week apart, to deliver it before returning it to the sender. The note they left on the second attempt was left in our mailbox, not on our door, and was marked final notice even though they are supposed to try 3 times before returning to sender. By the time we saw it in the mailbox it had already been returned to sender (only a 2 day window was given to pick it up at the post office), and we now have to pay to have a new document sent from the MVA again. When I called the post office, all the employee said was that he "didn't know" & offered no solutions or help. Paying for "priority" shipping did nothing but waste our money & worsen this headache. They also routinely deliver mail to us for a guy with a similar name to my husband's who has never lived here.

We had wife's parents living with us, so their mail was forwarded to here (Frederick, MD). Her parents recently returned home and we attempted to turn off mail forwarding. Except, now my wife's mail (her maiden name is also her middle name) is being sent to her parents' home and the Fred-neck post office CONTINUES to be totally inept about getting the process resolved! Bills, tax forms, everything and anything that has the inlaws's name anywhere in the "to address" is being forwarded and, go figure, the post office continues to have no clue how to resolve. Too bad we don't have other options....yet...

Several times my mail isn't picked up. Just this past Saturday, I put mail in with the flag up. Was in there before 8am and was still there after 5pm. Just got off the phone with the Post Office located in Frederick, MD. The person said, if they have no mail to deliver, they are not required to pick up mail even if the red flag is up. I said, whether you have anything to deliver or not, if the red flag is up, you still need to do your job and pick it up. Laziness at its finest. I complained and the person said they would mention it to the mail carrier. I mean, if your not going to pick up out going mail, why the hell do we need you anymore?

I have a package which should be a box that is 3.6 lbs. But the only thing that i have by post office is a booklet in my mail box . i have no idea where my package has gone , and since it was delivered to post office by UPS i'm sure it might weigh 3.6! and it shouldn't be just a book!. Where is my package USPS ?
Did you guys just opened it and sent me the book which must be inside the box? and kept the other stuff?

My outgoing mail has not been picked up on several occasions, even when I put the flag up on my box...is there some new rule that mail carriers only deliver and don't take outgoing or are they just clueless as to what the flag signifies? That would suggest a lack of proper training. Yesterday I placed mail to go out, raised flag, came back later and flag was lowered, new mail in box sitting on top of my outgoing mail. What the what?!! Good thing I didn't have anything particularly time-sensitive among the few items I was trying to send out! This has happened before and I had to load up kids in car, including one with special needs, to get to a post office by 5.

I have the same problem! My mail never gets picked up... even though I always put the flag up and often try to stick it out the slot. I have to drive to the nearest box or office to drop it off. So annoying!And, they won't accept my "return to sender" mail. I get a lot of mail addressed to the previous owner of our house. I tried writing "return to sender" across the front, but it all got redelivered to me after I sent it back. Then I tried putting a notice on my mailbox that has our names and asks for mail addressed to others to be returned to sender, but they still drop mail addressed to the previous owner in our box.

Best PO in Maryland. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I've never waited at all when I've been in there, even on days with long lines-- they are always sorting and moving along by types of task, always with a smile. A real pleasure to go there. Great when moving to town as well; got new keys almost immediately, faster than expected, and they handled mail holds wonderfully.
