The United States Postal Service is very bad now as a former employee at clerk carrier in the 70s I sent a package to my sister and it has not received and I insured it for $1,100 though the name is written on it and I suggest you please end up checking for it before I call the Postmaster General oh yeah where I lived the former Postmaster General Mr day who was under several presidents Administrations I think I can get a hold of somebody so please take care of this thank you and have a Happy Thanksgiving hahaha
Yesterday, 3/5/2022, 25 pieces of mail addressed to various residents at 4315 Ericson Road, Ellicott City, MD 21043 were delivered to residents in my building, 8801 Bosley Road. I gathered up all of the miss directed mail and delivered it to the proper location. This is unacceptable! The person delivering the mail was either not paying attention or cannot read. We are fortunate enough to have a wonderful regular mail carrier, Steve. This type of mistake would never happen on his watch.
Hours listed here are wrong. I headed to this post office today based on the information that it closes at 2:00pm on Saturday. At 1:20pm, I stood outside the door reading the (not new looking) placard to see that it in fact closes at 1pm on Saturdays.
This post office stopped doing their job. Instead of bringing parcels to the door, they just put notes of attempts into the mail box without ever attempting to deliver. They did not even knock. They don’t answer the phone. We need a new post man/woman ASAP.
Is there even any people working at this post office?? No one answers the phone-ever-and apparently no one delivers the mail either! Somebody please come in and clean house, this post office needs a whole new crew from top to bottom inside and out. There is a seriously short supply of "work ethic" now days! Worst post office in America-and that is an understatement.
I have not received any mail for the past 2 days(3/22 and 3/23. I have spoken to other neighbors and that have not received mail, either.
I am assuming that the mail I placed in the outgoing box has not been picked up. I am most concerned that bills I paid on time will be late as well as all of the holiday cards that I placed in the outgoing box will not be received on time.
I would appreciate any help that you can give me.

I have schedule pick up for packages I am shipping for a home based business. Two day in a row, scheduled and confirmed by email packages out for pickup by 7am and no one comes to get the packages. Unacceptable. I call the Ellicott City branch phone and no one ever picks it up!
Absolutely BOGUS. My phone was issued a text over a very important email stating that my MAILBOX WAS NOT ACCESSABLE during the snow BUT 2 mail trucks delivered OTHER mail earlier and an AMAZON VAN completely pulled into my driveway to deliver packages. My landlord clears our driveway out completely with a piece of heavy equipment and makes SURE the mailbox is accessable. Your drivers are LAZY and are LIARS I’ve had issues DOZENS OF TIMES with the moron that delivers my mail. What a waste. GET SOME NEW COMPETENT DELIVERY DRIVERS USPS.
I have not been getting my mail for several days. The mail carrier just drives by without stopping. I know I should be getting expected mail. Whats the problem?
I have lived in Ellicott City for 30+ years. This is the WORST post office. Mail taking 1 month from Hunt Valley to Ellicott City, getting incorrect mail, mail not delivered at all, etc. There is a mailbox at the corner of Route 103 and 104 that is so packed you cannot put any mail in it. My guess is that mail has not been collected from this box in a month or more. I am contacting the postmaster general to lodge a complaint. This is ridiculous!
I’ve tried calling you guys over 10 times already, I’ve also emailed you twice. I moved three weeks ago and I still haven’t received any mail. I placed a mail forward request 3 weeks ago and I still haven’t received my package that was delivered to my old address and or any mail. Why is no one helping me?!?!
This post office now needs investigation. We are continually getting incorrect mail. Many of us have lodged complaint after complaint in person but the problem continues to occur. We keep getting assurances it will be corrected and not happen again. No one ever answers the phone. How do you answer that 4 pieces of mail with different names and addresses went to the wrong location?
currently calling for the 6th time where it rings incessantly until the line goes dead. Looking for mail from the MVA that should have been delivered 2+ weeks ago and was told a few days ago that it probably wasn't delivered because my name wasn't on the mail box. I call B.S. because I have received plenty other mail at the address without my name being listed on the box. Extremely infuriating!!!! Answer the phone folks!!
Why doesn't anyone ever answer your phone??????? The only way to ask a question is to come in person, wait on line for half an hour, and then have the person at the desk say that not only cant they answer the question, but doesn't know anyone who could - WTF?????
Since the beginning of October 2018 I have not received 2 bills and 2 magazines. I called the postmasters number and was left on hold for 27 minutes so far. We won't mention the number of times I have received mail that isn't mine. I can't count on anything.
Postal Service has turned from bad to awful. There has been more than one incident with the letter carrier that services Trail View Drive in Ellicott City. The most recent incident was on 1/12/18, our mail was delivered soaking wet placed inside the mailbox. Two of the letters we received were so wet, the ink had bled and the print could not be read. In the Summer of 2017, our child's college diploma arrived and was damaged because the mail carrier folded it and forced it into the mailbox even though the envelope was marked in bold lettering - DO NOT BEND. In the Fall of 2017, School Pictures were also forced into the mailbox and damaged. The envelope for the pictures was marked - DO NOT BEND in bold lettering as well. Lastly a small package was placed in the mailbox for the carrier to pick up - it was a merchandise return with a prepaid USPS label. The package never arrived to the vendor after the delivery status was checked. Overall, we can never remember such poor postal service for the 20+ years we have resided in Ellicott City.
Terrible service, extremely rude, never getting packages (I get the rest of the neighborhoods though) or they show up extremely late.
Never pick up the phone, or when they do they put me on hold. Honestly, I'm writing this review while I'm on hold right now and it's been an hour after told to "Give me a second." I should of guessed they run on a different time because my packages are always late.
I respectfully request that the postmaster speak to our carrier on Manor Lane . The mail is getting all mixed up. I 'm at 4575 and am getting mail for 4574. Another neighbor commented that yesterday she got mail for four different addresses. I also received 18 of the same advertisement on Monday. Obviously these were suppose to go to other people on the street. Today I got two of the same.
also not sure what is going on all of a sudden we aren't getting mail to 3 in the afternoon. Not that I mind that but when the mail is helter skelter too it's concerning.

For the past three weeks I have not received my Comcast bill, car insurance statement or numerous other deliveries including a medication. The medication was mailed on 12/27/2016 and usually takes two business days. This is ridiculous. I live one mile from the post office.
This is possibly the worst USPS in the country. Our mailbox has been broken for close to a year and they still have done nothing about it, though they said they would. And to make matters worse everytime you call them, their line is busy. You would think the Post Master General would do something to turn this place around. One can only hope!
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Highly DISCRIMINATED!!!I needed a small piece of tape for my package. I asked one of the employees for some tape no bigger than a size of a quarter. She answers "no, you must purchase it." I say "okay, I guess I have to buy it then." After purchasing the tape, I stand to the side and tape my package. While the employee is taking care of another customer, I ask "can I get a receipt with this package?" The employee tells me to wait in line again, so I did. While I am waiting in line, she takes care of another customer. The customer says "can I have some tape please?" and she says "yes you can." I look around and see if anyone saw and most of the people were in shock. I was livid! I could not believe that she did that. Even worse, the employee offers tape to another customer and tells them that they do not have to wait back in line! While in line I tell her "really, I thought you told me that there was no tape and I had to buy it" This employee acted like she did not hear me and goes to the back. I could not believe the way I was treated. Even another customer looked at me in shock and saying "wow I saw that."DO NOT GO TO THIS POST OFFICE! THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!
