It’s been 4 months since I moved into my current address, all of the moving slips have been finalized and we receive our mail, but our current city carrier doesn’t know that some registered/certified mail REQUIRES a signature (not just thrown into the post box). He keeps delivering mail of previous tenants that lived at my address despite me telling him directly that they don’t live at my address. The previous tenants use it as an excuse to steal my mail and packages and there’s no cease to this as their office phone just rings off the hook so it’s likely I’m going to have to get an attorney involved if there isn’t any immediate action done.
I have complained numerous times about the mail person in meadowview not scanning my packages. This is the fourth time now. I was told it would be handled and they were spoken to but they still don't scan them. Bad enough the postal service is about ten days behind, but they don't even do their daily responsibilities. It's a joke
I am a resident at 1279 W Pulaski Hwy Apt 1.. As usual had mail to be picked up today, flag was up. Just watched mail person fly by the boxes and did not stop and pick up my out going mail. This is not the first time. No reason for them not to be able to stop, shoulder clear. I am getting tired of having to drive out to the post office to send out mail, i should not have to. Also should not be getting everyone else's mail in my box and should not have to check other boxes for mine, which i have to do. I have spoke with someone before and have spoken with the regular mail carrier. I don't want excuses how its the substitute carrier. apparently hire people that don't care who's mail they put in. I have had to hunt down my drivers license that had been mailed. Important documents going elsewhere, packages etc. I understand mail being backed up and so on, but when they blatantly don't even stop and pick up mail and or just throw mail wherever is getting bad. Shame i cringe when i know something is coming through the mail, because there is a good possibility someone else is getting it.
I do not drive and am in wheelchair so i can not get to the post office inn Elkton MD. I lost my post box key and would like to know how to get a replacement. Thanks for any help you can give me.
I just received a returned Xmas card that I put in the mail, with other cards, on November 30th. The address that I sent it to was two miles from my house and the bad part was that it's just around the corner from your post office. I mailed a credit card payment( a check ) on December 12, 2020 and found out today that the check didn't make it there. I was charged late fees $35 and $29 for cancellation of the check. The last several months out mailman delivery times have been a little different than prior deliveries. He used to be on a steady schedule but now I don't know whether I'm getting my mail at 10:30am or 4:00 pm.
Again, today I have mail in my box that does not belong to me.
4 pieces for 159 Yellowfield Blvd, 21921 and
2 pieces for 483 Elk Forest Road, 21921.
The only piece of mail for my address 484 Elk Forest Rd was put in my paper box.
I am not getting paid by the postal service to deliver mail and as of today, I quit.
I do not want this young man to be fired but I do want you to find him a job at which he can excel. He will never excel at this job. He has been at it long enough, that if he was going to even ½ way excel, it would have happened. Keeping him in this position does him no favor and postal clients a disservice. Now in his defense, he is being held to a very high standard. You just don’t get any better than Julie. If there are extenuating circumstances, please let me know so I can try to be more understanding.
I had to get my mailbox lock changed because I was never given a mail key when I moved in. I was a little disappointed in the $40 fee, but they were very nice and speedy with the process. I was told I would have to wait for about a week because they usually change locks on Tuesdays, but I received a call a day after I put in my request saying they had gone out that day and my key was ready. I was so pleased and surprised! Thank you!
I do not have home delivery of my mail. I have a post office box at Chesapeake City MD 21915.
The postal carrier in Elkton (which handles home delivery for Ches City) has been delivering some of my mail at someones house on another road from where I live. NONE of my mail is for home delivery, I do not have a home mailbox. Some has even been first class mail. Whoever receives it has not returned it to the post office. I learned by coincidence this happened when I did not receive mail/packages in a timely manner.
This needs immediate attention!!
As I'm waiting all day for a certain package to arrive at my home. I wonder oops something went wrong??? I got an email that the package has arrived earlier in the day. Knowing I didn't see a package I again went outside to look nothing so I think myself there's no way it's in the mailbox too big but I got a check anyway and to my surprise it was shoved in there had no business being put in my mailbox all because the delivery person was too lazy to get out of his truck.... My mailbox was broken because he was soaked it in there package was ripped cuz I had to pull it out.... SMH
You were to delivery my mail but lied said you attempted to at 4 49 pm I was home. Called after hours to complain, woman answered (postmaster) and kept hanging up on me. I paid for a 2day service and they do not do their job, lost important tax mail ect... this branch is rude and incompetent.

You need to stop lying to cover up and hire ppl who can do their job, not claim to but do not. Contacting Amazon also. This branch is so rude and if you need a hard worker who is honest I know plenty of ppl. Replace them all.
The information on this web page is a lie. Counting on the window being open I went there, arriving @ about 4:40 P.M. The front door was open, but the door to the windows was closed and locked. No one seemed present. Please ^update^ your information!
I went in for a passport meeting and the nice lady who helped me had to help other customers before me, even though I had an appointment, because her manager was too busy to help. The one who helped me was so polite and the only one working the front, so she was trying to multi-task and do her best. The rude manager was huffing and puffing when she was called to help up front and even left a gentleman standing there while she walked away. I knew she had other work to do in the back, but appearance and attitude in front of customers goes a long way. It's also how you treat your staff.
