No delivery of mail for two days including local newspaper called post office on wed they said sub was out there still nothing at 600pm checked thurs morning at 600am still nothing drove to post office attendant said regular was back .Thursday at 340 still no mail asked why thy misinformed me got into conversation I couldn’t get thru to gentleman I hung up . Service when regular isn’t on really bad , it effected being late with charges . Hopefully somebody will get Bennington Post office straightened out .Thank you ps I had to drive to get my mail sent out should not be like this

My package came through there and no further tracking updates were changed . I never received my package. These Usps people really need to verifiy their workers or have extra cameras around cause it’s not fair when customer’s packages are being stolen! Absolutely ridiculous!!

I've had a package sitting in the Springfield, MA post office since Feb 17. Have started a Search Request twice, with the same boiler plate response letter from them and then the "Your USPS Service Request Has Been Resolved" email back a couple days later. Over 2 hours on the phone with their general Customer Service #. Each time saying they will escalate the issue, with nothing.

My mail carrier keep opening the corner of my mail wen there is a credit card or a card that feels like a credit card I have read cases where this has happen, I am a paralegal and I know that the mail carrier is looking to steal, if they are doing this to me they have to be doing to others in the Springfield Ma 01109 area please commit if you are experiencing this as well, I have file a complaint with the USPS Inspectional service and the local post office

I mailed my daughter's Christmas gift on 12/16/20 from Edgewood, NM to Concord, NH. It was supposed to arrive by 12/23/20. It's now 1/14/21 and the package still has not arrived. Tracking info states that the package has been in Springfield, MA from 12/20/20. No further info RE delivery status. I have emailed this info & got a form letter that the package is not lost and it is common for this delay due to COVID-19. This fiasco makes me want to re-think how I deliver packages in the future. I'm frustrated with this whole mess.

very very dissapointed! where is my package?! its been at your facility since november 12 2020 and did not move since then no updates nothing. cant even call the hotline since the mailbox is full no one answering phone calls???! please dont do this to us! alot of us pay this packages hundreds or thousands , most need it urgently. I have had cpap equipment which is medical supplies sitting in the Springfield, MA post office since since around December 3rd. Medicare has already paid the supplier and the supplier will not send out a duplicate order. No one picks up the phone at this post office and you can not leave a message because the mail box is full. I wonder if I will die before I get my supplies. What is going on?

This place is a joke. I ordered two gifts for my children beginning of December and they have both been sitting at the Springfield site since December 11. It’s now January 8th. The “excuse” was first COVID then became “because you ordered books and it’s not a “premium service” you have to wait 30 days.” Excuse me?! These were Christmas gifts for my kids! No one picks up the phone. You get crappy replies when you file a claim. It’s unacceptable. I just ordered my husband’s birthday gift and checked the tracking and guess what??? It’s in Springfield. Good thing I ordered it early. Maybe he will get it next year in February for his birthday at the rate this place moves.

This page doesn't do anything for complaining, just saying. I just had to delete my previous comment to post this one. I have called their number as well, MAILBOX FULL, of course. I had an order and package from Nov. 27th end up there since the 10th of Dec. Never delivered, no updates through FEDEX infact, they provided me wrong information saying it was at my local post office, called them and they were able to track it saying it was brought to Springfield, yet FEDEX site says its in NORTHBOROUGH, again, no updates since 11th ( and the udpates were wrong) I feel it is a lost cause, how is it still behind? It is January! I am assuming packages were stolen 'missing'. Has anyone had any luck with contacting a live person to even see if the package is there and can be even picked up?

Very frustrated. My package has been at the Springfield MA distribution center since Dec 11th with no other signs of movement. It is not the fault of the company who shipped my order, but USPS would rather have us reach out to them to have the issue resolved than just get our packages processed in a timely manner. Most of us our pretty understanding and accepting of short delays, but this particular facility is taking full advantage and appear to be doing nothing to rectify the situation. HORRIBLE EXCUSE FOR SHIPPING. $1000 Christmas gift has been stuck there since December 10th and has not moved. If you can't facilitate getting these packages out of that hub either quit accepting them or hire more staff. Quit blaming this on Covid when you knew this was coming and did nothing to prepare.

I mailed my gifts on 12/04 with 2 day priority and they’ve been stuck in Springfield. I opened a case and someone called offering no information and promptly closed my case and sent a survey prompt. The 1/3 packages they delivered had a 4 inch hole! There phone is “busy”

Extremely lazy always with an excuse they are backed logged they have had my diabetic medical supplies since December 9th! Piss poor customer service. Showed a delivery for Dec 14th then disappeared! I called my local Post Office about packages mailed in November that seem to be eternally stuck in Springfield and they said they get over 50 complaints a day about the Springfield distribution center. They said expect 12-20 day delays that they are slow workers and understaffed to top it off. I appreciated the honesty from my local office. This place should be closed, and relocated to a place where they can get the job done. Imagine all the rotting food. How is this acceptable?!

I am expecting a package that was mailed on Dec. 2nd and it has been in transit since it left this post office on the 5th.I have called usps and they keep telling me it is on the way but tracking has never updated. My package arrived in Springfield on December 5th, was shipped to Windsor, CT, sent BACK to Springfield on that same day and has not left that facility in 6 days. It is addressed to Greenville, Rhode Island...an HOUR from Sprinfield!!! I shipped two items via UPS on December 4th. Both packages arrived at their destinations by the 8th. Come on, USPS. December 3, 2020 This is great! I am so happy to have a forum for registering my frustration for a Catch-22 situation. The choice word I use to describe this situation is UNBELIEVABLE. THE PROBLEM: I live in North Tonawanda, NY and my mother lives in a residential facility in Springfield, MA. Routinely, mail addressed to her is returned to me with "Insufficient Address - Unable to Forward". This, despite her having lived in her current circumstance for over a year and mail reached its destination with no issue when her living situation first changed. Returned mail has occurred with greater frequency since late summer. MY LOCAL POST OFFICE: Cannot help me - they say I must confer with the Springfield, MA, post office to determine the reason why. *** But, how, exactly, am I to do that? *** THE SPRINGFIELD, MA POST OFFICE: 1) Uses a telephone number (413-731-0573) which is not answered, allows a message to be left, but no call is returned. 2) Has a toll-free number (800-275-8777) with automated options, but none of them allow me to describe my issue. 3) No FAX number is provided (for sending documentation). 4) No E-mail address is provided (for scanning & sending documentation). At this point, I have decided to address all future mail to the residential facility requesting they deliver the mail to my mother. I am also considering how to word additional text to be included on the envelope to shame the Springfield, MA post office. I understand there are times when addresses are truly inadequate for mail delivery, but this is not one of the,. When a piece of mail has a street address, city, state and extended zip code [actually, the correct address for delivery] - WHICH IDENTIFIES THE BUILDING TO WHICH THE MAIL SHOULD BE DELIVERED - shame on the U.S.P.S. in Springfield, MA for affixing a sticker which cites: "Insufficient Address - Unable to Forward"! Also - how does someone who does not live in the city get any resolution when "all" points of contact lead to dead-ends? Please note, I am not a crank. I love my local post office and spend hundreds of dollars on stamps each year because I think "fun mail" arriving in a post box is great for the recipient. Especially with the pandemic this year, I have tried to send my mother multiple mail items each week. This experience with the Springfield, MA post office has really shaken my conviction in how the U.S.P.S. is run, especially for the Springfield, MA region.

I have a package that has been sitting in this post office for 21 days now. The tracking info hasn’t been updated at all. This post office is one of the worst. Good luck if any of your packages go through this post office because most won’t make it to their destination. I paid over $200 for a boat canopy as a birthday gift, which has already failed to make it in time for the birthday thanks to this horrible place!. It was mailed by the company and arrived in the Springfield, MA NDC on May 11,2020. It sat there 8 days before they even scanned it showing it arrived there. Now the latest tracking status shows "in transit to next facility" and this same tracking status has not changed for the last 3 days! When this facility shows the status as "in transit to next facility" they just go in each day and update the date on that status to the current day because no effort to actually send the package to its destination is being made!! .Today is May 21,2020 so tomorrow when I look up the tracking it will more than likely show the same status "in transit to next facility" but with tomorrow's date! So either my item has already been been stolen by an employee there, or is in the pile of potential goods that postal employees may be interested in taking, or it's in the pile of other pkgs they don't want to process for whatever reasons...laziness, (might take some effort to use their brain), incompetence, or who knows why! Tracking: 9405511899220729401884 These people should be ashamed of themselves. The postal inspector is aware of the multiple complaints of pkgs going missing and the unacceptable time frame they process what little they don't damage or steal!! I'm just amazed at the effort they do show by diligently changing the date on the last tracking status "in transit to next facility" to show whatever the current date is! Too bad they don't appreciate their jobs enough to use that effort to actually process the mail to get it to their destination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had an envelope that was supposed to left the Springfield NDC tracking # 9114 9012 3080 3354 0218 13 the USPS website for the last four days said in transit. The USPS customer service is horrible, never answers the email complaints. We have important documents inside of this envelope like to know where it is.

*DIG!* Missing or Stolen from Springfield, Mass Post Office. Gibson Epiphone Non-Reverse Bass. I shipped this bass Monday (2-Day Shipping) and it never left the Springfield area PO. Why doesn't this post office have a stamp machine? You shouldn't have to wait in line for stamps.
