We are still not receiving the mail, the supervisor Manny is absolutely horrible! He is rude and condescending our mail comes twice a week and every time he goes I’ll speak with the driver. We are told he will call us back and he never does. He is always out for lunch for hours a day. Someone please replace him.
This afternoon the postal clerk on duty took it upon herself to notify her manager that I wasn't home to receive a priority package. She read my urgency of this package and clearly relayed this to her boss. Within 20 minutes the manager came to my address after finding the truck which was still out on duty and delivered my package. We are blessed with such competence at the North Adams Post Office!
Just rc'd text stating pkgs from Amazon could not be delivered at 9:30 this a.m. because of no driveway or porch access. #1. I was home, saw no truck #2. Driveway is clear, deck and porch are accessible #3I have received mail for 37...wherever street or town in recent weeks and had to put them back in mailbox w/note. Curious as to which 37 wherever may delivery have been attempted. Do not appreciate the delay from this error. 😑
I've had one mailbox have its door broken off, another ripped off the side of my house, and the lid on my current metal one is mangled due to our postal worker being unnecessarily rough with it.
I've had them refuse to walk down my driveway because it's supposedly an alley, told that they wouldn't deliver for two weeks because the bags of cat litter we put out for our trash guy (who takes them away the very next day) were a health and safety hazard, and had them deliver to the mailbox on our back step (the one they previously refused to use) without informing us even after complying and attaching a new one to the front of our house.
To top it all off, I found my SSDI Function Report still sitting in my mailbox this afternoon (Saturday) despite putting it in there Wednesday evening.
Everyone we've dealt with at this location is either incompetent or inconsiderate, and the quality of service here is just plain terrible. Save yourself the time and hassle, and just take your business elsewhere if you can.
I come from a rural delivery location and moved here over a year ago. When you have mail there, you put it out and put the flag up and it is picked up.
NOT HERE in North Adams!! Last night I did click and ship on a small package. I then put it together and put it in my mailbox.
Today it WAS NOT picked up! I called and was told that we did NOT receive a notice to pick up and that we don't pick up mail if it is there is no mail to the address. UNBELIEVABLE! This is EXACTLY why the Post Office is going down the tubes and people are going with other companies!
Wondering what happen to the days of mail delivery when the slogan was "through snow, sleet, rain........." The mail will be delivered.
This is the last time that I will use the click and ship service!
WOW! Very disappointed!
I have 20 letters hanging out of my mail box needed to be picked up today. Mail Carrier walked right by. I called to say my neighbors have has their mail delivered and my mail was not picked up. Was rudely told that " Well thats not how they do it up here, they do not have to pick up outgoing mail if they dont want to." Are you kidding me?! I have had bills gone late because they were not picked up in time, but this is for a side job I am doing. How do you expect people to keep using service if its unpredictable for use?! After the man yelled at me again saying "what do you want me to tell you?! they dont have to pick it up!" What rude and unprofessional service! I did get mad and heated with him because I was being yelled at for inquiring about why my mail was not picked up!
Your tracking software indicated a package for me was delivered at about 3:40AM on Thursday Feb 2, 2017 to your Springfield location. Your tracking software also indicated that package would be delivered to me on Thursday (my mail carrier leaves my mail at about 4:00PM. The package was not delivered. I waited until today and the package was still not delivered. I was told at the counter to wait until tomorrow and see if it shows up.
My comment is "Why does it take 48 hours (or more) to get a package that is only 1.5 hours away by car?" Should I be suspecting "foul play" somewhere along the line? Is it necessary to send things through Hartford, CT. (of all places) to get to North Adams, (or any of Berkshire County for that matter).? Is this like "fighting city hall"? When should I suggest to the sender that they collect insurance on this item?
Any response would be appreciated! Thank you for your attention to this little issue.
