My mail service sucks in Fitchburg they are not trying to deliver mail with consideration of residents needs and emergencies. I watched a mail man run over a garbage can and hit neighbors mailboxes and not deliver mail because of laziness and lack of compassion of people receiving mail.

We are having a difficult receiving the proper mail into our boxes. We are a complex, and we are getting everyone mail. Our boxes are all labeled. The large keyed boxes at the bottom of the unit have had keys hanging from them for over a month. When we have a package delivered, they just put it in there for anyone to take. Problems with some home owners medications being delivered. No happy at all. I call the Fitchburg office, let it ring for 8 minutes this morning, and no one picked up. I understand the shortage of workers, but there is no excuse for mail not being in the right boxes and that packages being left un locked. Thank you!

The post office is hanging up on me and then pretending they can't hear me. I took a recording of the entire thing. I would call, state my business and then they'd just hang up or pretend they couldn't hear me. But they'd always wait until I was finished speaking to say hello? I'm going to file a complaint because Tom you deserve to be fired. You're a public servant representing the US government. This isn't a game! I am trying to resolve an issue with my mail and you won't even talk to me on the phone. I am going to have to go there in person now, taking time out of my very busy day, because you are unprofessional and an absolute jerk.

Honestly getting annoyed that with our last names AND a note on our mailbox to not leave mail that isn’t our last name, carriers are STILL putting mail in our box! Super frustrating and it is NOT MY JOB to take these pieces of mail back to the post office.

I was outside from 12pm–2pm. I was waiting for my package. We finished what we were doing outside. I went inside and looked at my phone. And it says that a delivery was attempted but there was no one there to sign at 1pm. When I was literally on my porch. No truck came by. No one stopped at my house. I don’t even have a skip saying sorry we tried to deliver. There was nothing BECAUSE NO ONE CAME. I read some reviews on this place and other people have had the same problem of mail carriers not even passing by their street. Never using USPS again.

I’ve been waiting for a package for 5 days. I checked the tracking and it said that a delivery attempt was made but no access. I have a unlocked mud porch and it was raining. I sure miss the good old days

As I sit here at the Gables assisted living in Fitchburg, visiting, the mailman, dressed in a white t-shirt and tan shorts delivered the mail. Postal employees should be properly attired indicating they work for the USPS. If the post office is seeking respect and support from the public there should be standards that seek that respect. The lack of standards or judgement allowing this behavior Is appalling. A further erosion of public support will be the end result of these lax policies.
