My address is the last one on this route. I am complaining about my route carrier, the only time the person comes here is when they have mail to deliver. I have very little mail that needs to be picked up. Even so they should still come, on several occasions I have had to pay late fees because of this problem. Now when I have mail that needs to be picked up I have to drive 11 miles to the Minden Post Office. I have gone to the Post Office on two occasions to file a complaint. Nothing has been done, the last response that I got was the route carrier doesn’t have to come to my address since I have very little mail to pick up. I was leaving the flag up to see when the carrier came. They would put the flag down when they delivered mail, now I guess they have wised up, when they do deliver mail they are leaving the flag up. Is there away to solve this situation are will it remain the way it is. Today I have a very important letter that has to be mailed to FEMA Disaster Aid for my house in Luling, La. that was severely damaged by hurricane IDA. So now I have to drive to the Minden Post Office to mail that letter. It’s a shame that I can’t get refunded for my expenses when someone else is getting paid to deliver and pick up my mail at my address.

October 26, 2020 I am having problems with the rural route carrier, they only come when there is mail for me. I am the last address on the road I don’t have that much mail to be picked up but, that person should still come and check my mail box everyday. Two weeks ago I had a letter that was to be picked up It was picked up 4 days later. I went to the Minden post office to report the carrier. I spoke with the postal clerk and explained what had happened and that my address was the last one on the road. She replied to me that the carrier didn’t have to check my mail box unless they had mail to deliver to me. I told the clerk that is wrong that she has to come check my mail box. The clerk said that she will write a note and give it to the carrier. I put a bill to be mailed in the mail box yesterday (Sunday) to be picked up today. The carrier didn’t come and check my box today, the flag was still up when I checked it at 6pm looked inside my envelope was still in the mail box. Several weeks back I had a bill in the mail box to be picked up that stayed out there for a week. Then finally I realized that I was going to be late paying that bill, I brought it to the Homer post office to be mailed. My late fee was $30 dollars I am retired living on a fixed income and can’t afford to have money unnecessarily wasted like this. If the carrier refuses to come check my box and the Post Master doesn’t want to correct the situation let’s work something out. If the carrier can give their phone number to me I can send a text to them that I have mail that needs to be picked up. Thank you for your time.

Dec. 1, 2021 I am still having issues with my route carrier then my complaint from a year ago no one replied back to me. So, I guess the Postal Service doesn’t read these issues. I guess I need to complain to higher ups.

I have contacted this office numerous times about receiving my initial light bill only to be told that all the mail was delivered. Strangely enough. I ALWALY receive the late notice but never the original bill which comes out at the beginning of the month. I have checked with the utility billing office which assured me that the bill is being mailed and check with the post office because they are not being returned to them. NO ONE seems to care enough to truly investigate this matter. I am pleading one last time to delete this matter. I also receive the bill for Holmes Memorial Church and has not been receiving anything but the late notices which incurs a late fee. This is for a church which I am the secretary and is responsible for getting it paid. Thank You,
