Ferriday's postal service is garbage! First off they gave me hell about place MY on my property. They said I had to put it across the street someone else property when my next door neighbor has her mail box placed on her front porch beside her door. Then we were told that we were going to have to move our mail box if the lady ever moved or passed. Now I have been checking the mail the past few weeks and there hasn't been any mail. Well we stop the mail carrier and asked him why we had not been receiving any mail and we were told that the post office said that our home was abandoned and they stopped all deliveries! I am so pissed off at the fact that these people did this to us. Now for the record, our home is being remodeled. And ALL of the utilities are turned on and paid up. I guess because my grass wasn't as manicured as their on they felt they could make such a decision about my property. Bull! No notifications or anything! Now we are being told that we should just get a post office box to avoid any problems! That is bull crap! Why should I pay for a post office box when I have the right to have one at my home? I am going as far as I can go with this matter because it seems that we are being done this way because of some lazy ass employees who don't want to work. My God, really? You send all of my mail back to the senders and claim my property is abandoned but you send back all the utility bills that obviously prove that the property is not abandoned! I want some to contact me on this matter.
