I don't write reviews for bad businesses, but people deserve to know before going here. They are rude and dismissive for no reason. I just needed to mail a package but I was countered with Ms. Attitude who tried to ruin my day. When I tried to call the office on another occasion, the phone would ring and ring but no-one would answer. They also put your important mail inside magazines and it gets mixed up with our neighbors ALL the time! There needs to be a change somewhere because this is very sad.

Someone mailed me some mail last Monday and sent it to me in Kansas and I still haven't received it. Been trying to call everyday and they aren't answering.

I had $500 worth of gifts stolen out of the box and has someone else’s package put into my box. I’ve been calling this post office and USPS customer service for over an hour and all I get is the sound of a dial up computer starting. The package was marked “attempted delivery” when I was home all day and no attempts were made. It has a sticker marked it was unsealed despite the box being completely wrapped in tape and the sticker has no date or initials that is required for putting the sticker on it. I’m positive someone from this post office stole my package and placed someone else’s package in mine.

I haven't received mail in 5 days. I just got a notice saying they had an issue trying to deliver my mail again. This is the second time with the same excuse. Does anyone have an answer ???

I’m located in the Meraux area. Today was the 4th time our mail lady stepped out of her vehicle and threw my package at my house hitting the top of the door and falling to the ground breaking the contents inside. How lazy and disrespectful do you have to be that you can’t walk ten more feet and place a package on the ground by the door? I’m still dumbfounded that this USPS worker still has a job behaving in this way when I know for a fact that she throws other neighbors packages as well. She should be fired. There is no excuse for that kind of disrespectful conduct. FIRED

I request package pickups often, they don't ring the bell or knock as requested. many times I have to make a trip to the post office and bring it myself. The personal are lazy, in my area. They put it was picked up. I've talked to the manger. and still nothing is done. very upset with this service thinking of going to ups

Omg I've been charge by two different places and lost out on a job because the post office can't keep steady workers and they seems as though the mail gets thrown away if they don't want to deliver it to your house and no way to track lost mail 😡

THIS IS JUST FREAKING RIDICULOUSWOW SO EVERYONE KNOWS WHEN YOU MOVE TO CHALMETTE MAKE SURE YOU CALL THE POST OFFICE AND LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU MOVED, ( YES CALL THE POST OFFICE) OR THEY JUST WILL NOT BRING OR PICK UP MAIL. I HAVE HAD OUTGOING MAIL IN MY BOX WITH A BIG BRIGHT RED FLAG UP FOR 5 DAYS, AND WHEN I CALLED TO SEE WHY IS SHE NOT STOPPING AT MY HOUSE ( CAR AND TRUCK THERE ALL DAY) TO DO MY MAIL. THEY SAID THE LAST THEY WAS INFORMED THE HOUSE WAS EMPTY!! SO ACT LIKE THEY ARE 2 AAND CANT DO THERE JOB AND CALL IT IN THAT YOU MOVED TO CHALMETTE!!
