Has the USPS gone WOKE or is it just service or lack there-of as usual. We have less than half an inch of snow accumulation in Richmond Ky (40475) today and the usps can’t deliver in town less than two miles from the post office. What was your motto? Should be neither rain nor sleet or snow nor the least amount of effort or something to that affect. What a joke.

We haven't received mail since Wednesday. I can understand Thursday and possibly Friday due to inclement weather. Plus, a package I am expecting said "delivery attempt on Jan. 8 due to unsafe or hazardous conditions when my driveway and front walk were cleared of snow/ice. Please, deliver our mail and packages!

This place is a joke. My package said it was dilivered to Richmond by UPS and was transferred to USPS to deliver to me and USPS ook it back to Tennessee...um I live in Richmond so I don't understand and no one will answer the phone. I was supposed to have my package by today. It's a Christmas gift for tomorrow and Sunday and it looks like I will not have it in time. The least you could do is answer your phone.

I have been calling since 11:30. The phone rings and rings until it finally sounds like someone hits the ignore button, going to a "beepbeepbeep" sound. I realize you close at 12:00 on Saturday, but the least you can do is answer the phone! I have a VERY important question regarding mail I put in the outside mail box 3 Fridays ago that still has not reached its destination and is time sensitive. I did not bring it into the post office because my husband and I tested positive for Covid and did not want to expose you all, but now I wish we had! At least my important mail would have been sent out since apparently you don't check the mail box beside the building and you don't answer your phone on Saturdays.

Just moved here. Package was supposed to be delivered 3 days ago and shipping status updated to being held for pickup. I went to this location to pick it up. My package was not there. It was on the carriers truck. I was advised that i didnt get it becuase the carrier "doesnt know me" i am also not receiving my sons prescriptions because of this carrier. I took the green vacancy card out of the mailbox the first day to indicate that i could receive mail and i filled it out and put it back in with the flag up. The carrier took the card and still has not left the 2 things i am expecting. This has been a week ongoing and my son is at risk for not having his medication because of one employees decision to dictate when and if she will do her job. I dont know if i need to contact the police to report the perscriptions as stolen. Amazon however has assured me that they are launching an investigation for the package expected from them. During this time period i have had no issue with UPS delivering my packages. This is insane and should never happen. With this experience i see why mail in ballots will be an issue.

I'm having the same issue. My package says it was delivered 3 days ago but I have yet to get it. I actually saw my mailman yesterday punching mail because of he was frustrated. I was watching for my window to see if my package was going to come. As I have done every day. I called the company I ordered from they assured me that it arrived in Richmond and what hasn't got to my house yet they are not aware of. Very frustrating when you have an employee that has such an important job and they just don't care to do it right.

I guess that this Postal Store in Richmond, Ky. is a new wave in the modernization of the postal system. However, I miss the building when it was a Post Office. Outside the parking was so crowded that it took time to get a place, usually. Then inside the line was long and the employees so busy but always at a window asking if you needed help. Now the interior is practically empty, just 2 men behind the bar, and lucky if 2 patrons waiting in line. Legally, I do not think this Postal Store would be under the same rules as the Post Office. But, we have no access to the Post Office. It is located on another street in Richmond and closed to the public. Why did the employees go there? We had such good, dependable help. Miss the crowds, too. Where did they all go? Thanks!

At Richmond Green Apts. we have a problem with our mail getting wet whenever jit rains. In particular, the box that 604 Richmond Green Dr. is in. This is an ongoing problem (over 2 yrs.) and has been reported. Mail, Christmas and Birthday cards, whatever are ruined. Also, is there any way to STOP the cartier from putting the UNREQUESTED sale paper and Advertiser from being put in my mailbox? The carrier crams them on the box, quite often ruining the other contents by bending them up, etc., such as magazines that I pay for! Thank you for addressing these issues as soon as possible.

I called the number and spoke to a very nice man about my missing package and he gave me another number to the delivery supervisor. The “supervisor” was a woman and she seemed annoyed from the first minute we spoke. She made me hold in order to answer a cell phone call and I could hear the entire personal conversation she had. She then proceeded to make me repeat my entire tracking number over again for the second time to check on my package. She first claimed it was delivered to my house. I have been home for the last few months of my pregnancy every day and my dogs alert me when someone is near the front window. I have also been diligently waiting as I have tracked the package since it was sent. She agreed to check again and asked me if I have a red truck in my driveway and if I am the 6th or 7th house down. I told her I have a silver car and I am the 8th house down the street. She then agreed the package might have been delivered to the wrong house, after first claiming it had to have been stolen off my porch. I have in the past worked several customer service jobs, so I know how it feels to be on the end of a complaint. I was extremely nice the entire time while standing my ground that it did not reach my house. At the end of the call, she made it a point to be very rude and said there’s nothing she can do about it. She said I had no insurance and it isn’t their fault they delivered it to the wrong house and hung up very quickly without so much as a goodbye or have a good day. I’m honestly appalled at the low level of costumer service I had to deal with today. Not as upset about my package as I am about the way I have been spoken to. I called the first number back and complained and was given a sincere apology but no real way to complain about the issue. The postal service should take responsibility for their actions and hire someone for that position that is better suited for the job. I am honestly embarrassed for you.

My mail carrier is not closing my mailbox door completely. I have left kind notes in my mailbox asking him/her to be more cautious in closing the door properly. From time to time, my mail has gotten wet because of this. I happened to go down Goggins Lane recently and noticed some mailboxes with the doors down and mail exposed. I don't know it this is the same carrier. If so, it seems to indicate a pattern of carelessness. I would appreciate your help with this very much. Aaron Lainhart
