Following the tracking number assures me that my package was delivered to my mailbox yesterday. It was not. Where could the mail be this time?

I would like to compliment an inside postal office worker named Tony. I wasn’t sure what I needed to do to mail a package. The office was busy, but Tony graciously helped me through the process, going above and beyond to help me. Thank you, Tony!

Worst post office I have ever had to deal with. They constantly lose our mail, we receive mail for other addresses, it's nearly impossible to talk to them on the phone as they never answer. When you visit, the employees who work behind the counter make it very clear that they know nothing and have no interest in attempting to help you find your missing mail. One time a document with sensitive personal information was lost and the manager had no clues as to where it was except that it may have been delivered to someone else's mailbox - which is EXTREMELY concerning. Other time, we had multiple letters returned to sender because our "address does not exist". I can assure you that it does and that all other letters have made it here, but the only explanation offered was that we had a new driver and somehow he wasn't able to do his job. I have never had anything other than disappointing experiences with this place. If I can avoid it, I no longer use USPS for anything important as they cannot be trusted at this location and they really don't make an attempt to do better or even understand my frustrations.

We have the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE with this post office. Post office delivers the wrong mail to our mailbox, we are certain they deliver our mail to another mailbox (expected letters do not come, ever). I found a package on the ground outside of the mailbox with a post-it note that said, "Put in wrong mailbox." It was a package for ME that had come from China - extremely expensive item inside. Are you kidding me? This post office doesn't asnwer its phone - they don't know anything when I go there to complain. I feel helpless - I want to get my mail in MY MAILBOX, but apparently it's impossible to guarantee this.

Mail person finds reasons to not deliver packages. Online it stated the package could not be delivered due to animals at residence. We have two cats and a bird. Another time when a signature was required she stated no one was home to recieve package. I stood in the front door way and watched her drive by. Pathetic.

Our driver is very aggressive. Drives through here very fast. I've seen him drive into a yard when he took the corner to fast. Lost two of my packages,so I went into the PO and asked about them . He found them that day,but was very rude when he delivered them. I was home when he came, and he threw them on my front step without ringing my bell.

Package appears to be lost by the post office. We tracked the package from the purchase date and when it ended up at the post office. It sat at the post office for 5 days and then we contacted the post office. They asked us to call back the next morning so they could touch base with the carrier. However, we rechecked the status of the package that evening and the post office had changed the status to delivered to an individual at our address. We were home and no one came to deliver a package to us. We asked the carrier the next day and she even stated she had not delivered the package. It seems like the post office just changed the status of the package but never did deliver it to us. It appears to us they just did not want to deal with it anymore. We have contacted the post office 5 times and each time they said they will call us back and never have returned a call.

Called this post office due to a package sent 2 day priority from the Washington, D.C. area on Nov. 20th. The package left Lubbock TX. on the 23th of Nov. The package finally scans on Nov. 30th at the local post office saying out for delivery today in Shawnee. The package was not delivered that day. I called the post office and spoke with a lovely person name Trish or Trisha. She tells me that the package is there and being delivered that day on Dec. 1. Within a couple of hours later another person called telling us they could not deliver yesterday, but will today. We were happy that the package was there and surprise that someone was nice to call us back to reinforce what Trish has already told us. We tracked throughout the day waiting for the delivery scan to appear, but it never never did. We called back this morning Dec.3 and Trish picked up the phone. I don't know what they did to the Trish I spoke with on Sat. because this one was not the same person. This Trisha was rude, very ugly, had an attitude, and wanted me to call the person that the package is being sent to see if they got it. This is an online sell and there is no way of us to do so. And if they did and say they did not without that scan we could lose a bit of money. Now mind you she came us this bad bit of advice when ascertaining if I was the sender or receiver. If I am the receiver she would have gotten off her lazy bum because that person can walk in where I cannot. If I am sender almost 1000 miles away she can treat me anyway she likes. I said wait, isn't that your job? I paid for priority with tracking. Doesn't your mail carriers track and scan packages? I paid priority, and that includes scanning. Then she accuses me of yelling when I am not, well not at that point anyway. What does she do, she hangs up on me. Apparently she needs to come up with an excuse in order to hang the phone up than doing her job. I called back and got the name person again. The person pretends not to know who I ask her where is my package that was suppose to be delivered on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.. This lovely lady from the dark reaches of the netherworld tells me that all packages from the 30th of Nov has been delivered. I told her that is not true because there is no scan that reflects this that it has been delivered at all. Then she proceeds to tell me that prior to her hanging up on me she was going to make a case. Right! This is how incompetent this person because if she had done her homework she would have known that a case was already made Nov. 23 when it was not delivered. And the second call I got on Dec.1 telling me it was being delivered told in the same office there that she is responding to that case. That tells me already one hand hasn't a clue where the other one is at including my package. Yes, we are 13 days into this and it now it is lost from their post office to the address on the package. How rich is that? Well, due to her attitude, hanging up on me, refusing to answer the phone, she finally answers the phone again. I told her I wasn't yelling but after leaving me without any remedy she then threatens me that she will call the police if I call again. I would not have to call back if I wasn't hung up on in the first place. I lost my cool. I am now demanding the manager who at some point got on the phone trying to help me. As I am calming down I relay to the manager I am a recent open heart patient who is also a stroke victim and this is not the way to treat anyone. The manager was very professional on the phone and told me in so many words that the package is now lost. They do not know where it is or if they mailed it to that address or maybe some other. Now they have to forward track to try to locate the package. I was earlier by that other lovely person from the state of never never land that they had more than 500 or so packages at some point, and that it is hard to scan every package. My local post man himself has to scan a few hundred himself daily, and he isn't the entire post office, just a lone carrier. Rebecca told me she will call me back when they find something. I think they have a better chance of finding Jimmy Hoffa. I don't have confidence in any of these people. Who knows, maybe Trish is having a bad day or didn't get the toy she wanted in her box of Cracker Jacks. I don't know, but I am hoping Rebecca is more successful than the lot of them. There will be an update.

We recently moved into a new home in a new phase of a development. There will eventually be a cluster box installed but until then our HOA made arrangements with the manager at this post office to deliver to our house if we put a mailbox on our porch. They delivered once and then not again. After several attempts to call we made another trip in. The lady that assisted us was rude and would not even listen when we tried to explain that our mail wasn’t being delivered. She said it didn’t matter who had made the arrangements they made no exceptions and that it shouldn’t have been delivered the first time. On that first delivery we had also received mail at our house for about 20 other addresses. She told us that they would not continue to deliver our mail until we met all the requirements of putting the receptacle up on the correct side of the street for the “ flow” of the carrier. But she couldn’t tell us where that would be. Then suggested that we could help out by getting the incorrectly delivered mail “back into the mail stream” for her. Um wow.

in one word - service is terrible!!! I placed a mailhold but mail continued to be delivered!! Our mailman is good but he needs to be given the information about the hold isn't it? Just try to call them on the phone and you will get a busy tone. I tried for an hour.

Terrible delivery service! I am constantly having to call the post office to ask them to have my mail delivered. I don't know what the problem is. My mail carrier keeps texting me that my package has been delivered when it hasn't. I have never experienced such awful mail service in my life.

Went to Monticello post office last week to pick up the mail I've had on vacation hold and was standing in a long line of people. One male postal worker helped a customer before me and then went into the back area of the post office without any word. One older female postal worker was helping a customer in the back area, selling postal items. Waited 5-7 minutes - no one was coming to help customers. Behind me - seven more people, all the way to the front door. I asked this female postal worker if everything was all right, since no one was coming to assist us, as in me and others. Her comment in this line - "I'll help you, but this is a post office. What do you expect? Long lines is a normal thing." Wow! What an attitude! Probably overworked! I made a decision to avoid this or any post office as much as possible this year and use ANY other possible means to send my packages or buy stamps! By the way, my mailman(s) or women who deliver my mail are doing great job!

Our postal service deliveries are terrible. Most days the mail is delivered after 7 PM and many time we get no delivery. If the is any bad weather the mail is never delivered. This is ridiculous, can it be corrected?
