The women and men employed at Valparaiso’s post office are some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting for a service. Their customer service is off the charts. Great job USPS employees.

This has happen 2 time at the stand alone post box drop off behind Chase Bank on US 30 across from Strack's mail a letter 10 days ago and it has not showed up to its destination. This need to be ck out to see if the box is getting the mail picked up.Valparaiso

Our mail lady, Audrey, is wonderful! Our dog waits for her each day, as she gives out dog treats. Audrey always has a friendly smile and gives a wave. We feel so lucky to have her as our mail carrier!

I am sooo upset! Just reviewed the video of my fragile package (says so on the box) being delivered to my porch. She literally dropped it two feet from the ground onto my concrete porch so that the box rolled a couple times, so she rolls it back instead of picking it back up and turning it right to scan it and also so it was placed right side up (which it mentions on the box!!). I really wish I could post the video here because it’s ridiculous how lazy and careless she was being. Even if the initial drop was an accident she should have been more careful afterwards and rang my bell to let me check my package and possibly do an report or something. However the fact that she didn’t care at all shows me she probably let go that high off the ground on purpose.

My husband has worked for PO for 8 years now. I’m tired of him coming home stressed out. Post master Dori makes her business to harass him. It’s now affecting his health. Dori needs to be exposed. She targets 3 to 4 people in that office and I’m done staying quite. I’m going to expose her. No one should work with such a toxic person and a horrible work place.

Had a package delivered at the wrong house,so I never got it. It was delivered Aug 10 to whoever.The post office can't tell me who got it.This is not the first time this has happened to me.I am a widow and cannot have things not delivered after I have paid for them.

I had a package due delivery today and I received a text (tracking) stating that they tried to deliver but "did not have access to location" which was a lie, it is a residence. I contacted the post office and the person told me that the rural carrier did not know where the address was???????? What are they doing delivering mail for then?????? They could have entered the address in there cell phone google maps etc and it would have taken them to the destination. This is totally unacceptable for the postal service not to know where to deliver the package, I was waiting all day for the package!!!!!

I never received my birth certificate back after passport!

The worst Post Office! Will not deliver packages to my door, because it would require a short drive down a gravel road. Makes Amazon Prime not worth it since I have to go to PO to pick up packages. Woman who retrieves packages always acts like she is put out. It's her job! UPS has no problem driving down our road. Post Office is lazy!

I called valpo post office today to ask what time does mail have to be delivered.lady on phone says up to 6:30 at night. our mailman never comes at the same time. one day 1pm next day 6pm. we didnt get any mail the last two days at all and we always have something. i was waiting on important piece of mail. go today to my brand new mailbox and all of my mail is wet and ruined and it hasnt rained in two days. i tell lady on the phone about it she says thats strange not even concerned or asked how she could help me. the valpo mail service is awful, maybe mayor should get on their butts, what good does it do to live in nice city with crappy service. just do your job, in addition we see him sitting at the end of our road all the time taking his LATE afternoon breaks while we are waiting for our mail, he even had my husband get package out of his mail truck himself.

The “supervisors” at the Valpo office are the worst as far as customer service goes. Especially Matt and the lady I spoke to the day before. On top of that the mail carriers are rude to the people they deliver to.

never got our property tax.just had to pay the penalty for being late.called to let them know at the post office,and nothing can be done.thanks for nothing

I replaced my mailbox with a new one..... a few weeks later the carrier broke the hinge on the right side of the door. I repaired it. I just found today that they broke the hinge on the left side. PLEASE BE MORE CAREFUL ... it isn't a cheap plastic box, I bought a nice one.

I received somebodys mail not mine called post office told what happened was put on hold heard click then busy signal tried calling back no answer it's only 1: 30 pm but nobody answers.The post office is in Valparaiso Indiana .

They are so rude in this Valpo branch and we all of a sudden stopped getting our mail but we're getting someone else's mail and bills on a totally different street with a dif number too! I never changed this and the address is right on the mailbox! They suck is it pure laziness that they just throw someone else's mail in our box and ours in someone else's? That or it just gets returned to whoever sent it to us. They need to get rid of the lazy people and do their job right!

I am tired of my mail going in someone elses box. My prescriptions were not delivered to my box, but tracking says it was. That's bull.

YOUR service STINKS !!!!!!!!!!! My package was given to FED-X and was then handed to the U.S.P.S.....Its been over a week and still no package...I called the Valpo branch ,,,got a voice mail to call the Indy branch that told to call the Valpo branch....WHAT A MESS....NO WONDER NO ONE WANTS TO USE THE U.S.P.S. and people use UNITED PARCEL SERVICE ....FED-X is just as bad as you are

I called my local post office (valparaiso, IN 46383) to schedule an appointment to renew children's passports. I got a recording to contact 1-800-275-8777. I called that number and recording instructed me to call the local post office. So both numbers were recordings to call the other number.
