The Scottsburg Post Office is the worst Government office. I get mail everyday but when I am expecting a pkg. they always seem to put it in the wrong mail box. I have called them a minimum of 4 times in the last year for delivering to the wrong house(not mine). They should start over with their mail carriers.

So sick of not getting mail, or it get dropped off 2 door down. And when you call the post office they don't help! We need new post office people.

Is your address number clearly visible next to or above your front door? Is it also labeled clearly and visible on your mail box or mail box post? Does the street your mailbox opens towards have a street sign that is legible? If you answered YES to all of these questions, the mail carrier needs retained. If you answered NO or KINDA, then you need to correctly label your residence inn such a manner that your carriers (of all sorts) can acknowledge that they are at the correct address. Hope this helps all, as it is difficult for carrier of new or unfamiliar with an area to effectively deliver items. Once you and your carrier have made acquaintances it will also become more dependable.
