Whoever was delivery packages on Sunday 8/18/2024 did a lousy job ,in my opinion. Whenever I've had packages delivered before the person has always brought them to my porch. This person left the pkg by the side of the road where anyone could have easily taken it . There was no dogs that would have prevented them from bringing pkg to porch. I personally think they were being lazy and didn't care where they left stuff. . Not happy with their service

Billy was phenomenal in assisting me with a undeliverable package. He personally ensured that my package was located and available to be delivered in a timely fashion. I truly appreciate his willingness to assist me with this situation.

Normally our packages are placed inside the door of our apartment entrance, today I found our package on the sidewalk by the step. We live on a pretty busy street with quite a bit of foot traffic as well. Our package could have easily been stolen. I called & I think the man was confused on our address, he acted as though we were a business & not a residence. He also told me the carrier would leave a slip & we would have to pick up our packages from now on. That’s not what we want. We just want them to be placed inside the door like they usually are.

We reported our carrier for leaving a perishable box in the rain to get ruined at our front door....this door has a obvious 'please use side door' sign hanging that you can read from the road. Now our packages are mysteriously not getting delivered on time or at all. This is why everyone bad mouths the USPS. USPS needs to wipe the slate at this office and hire real professionals

Mitchell post office stopped delivering our mail due to the road construction. No one contacted us to let us know. We called after 4 days of "no mail". no one would take responsibility for our "no mail" delivery or tell what the plan would be going forward. This construction will be 4-5 months. Very upset!

we lived in apt behind our store in Mitchell, in. and just moved the store to Bedford into another store with apt in same building. the Mitchell post office says we cannot forward our personal mail and that we have to arrange for the store to forward our mail. I just don't get it. I hate calling people stupid but.
