I started online stores in 2014. I use the USPS for all my shipping, only occasionally using other carriers. Not once have I had an issue with them in delivery of packages. And they are timely. I ship all over the US and Canada. Also have shipped a few thousand packages. They have done a great job for me. I appreciate their service and work.

I was expecting a package today. I clicked on status and it said package was delivered. Left at the front door/front porch. There was no package there. My wife and were both home, front door open and nothing was on the front porch. Mailbox was empty as I checked that too in case carrier did not know the difference between front porch and mailbox. Now I am out the price of the item!!! This is pathetic!!!!

Called Danville PO today 12 x and get busy signal. Phone off oh hook. I had an oversized box crammed into my regular size mailbox. Had to call a neighbor to get box out and it was mutilated. Who ever the demented carrier that did that, I hope someday you are left disabled like me and need assistance. You should have gotten off of your cushy seat and walked 20' to my front door.

Literally the WORST place to work , they treat their workers like dogs . All the managers have egos , especially the city side.

Amazon boxes delivered today were left by the side of the road on the highway. With the prevailing theft problems of delivered packages this would seem to be the ultimate in careless service.

We have a mail carrier that is ignoring the rules of the road in our subdivision. This carrier is speeding through our neighborhood, Cobblestone in Avon. He is also destroying mail box doors, slamming them and flinging them open. When I confronted him in the act he denied any wrong. As in any residential neighborhood there are numerous children that he endangers with his excessive speed. I suggest you do something about this as I don’t want to involve local law enforcement. Also I would appreciate that my mail box door remain attached to the box.

My packages have been delivered to the wrong address. Marked as delivered when they haven't beeen, and then delivered 2 days later. I've been told directly over phone that they "prefer not to let people pick up their packages as they try to deliver them in a timely manner..." which they aren't. I've gotten final notices on my door saying we've not been home and to pick up our package even though they've told me I can't pick them up... they don't knock, they don't ring the door bell

I ordered some items through amazon and delivery was scheduled for Sunday 12/29/18. My husband got an email and text saying it was delivered and handed in person at 1:56pm. Well we were home and our doorbell never rang nor a knock on our door. My husband checked the mailbox and nothing. I’d like to know what in the world is going on!!!

I do not know why there are so many complaints here. I lived in Danville for 8 years with no problems with the post office.

Good for you. Must be nice not having to chase down lost packages, or having your mail delivered to the wrong address at least 3 times a month, or coming home to an open box stuffed full of mail that was supposed to be on hold! And I've lived here 20+ years, so...

Good for you. Because my delivery of mail, and packages is terrible. I get somebody else's mail in my box everyday. They lie and say they tried delivering and they haven't because I've been sitting right here, if you need something quickly you better pray USPS isn't the delivery carrier. There are days when it looks like my carrier was tired and just dumped whatever and whoever's mail in my box. And the post office isn't close to me I don't want to drive and pick something to that's why I pay to have it delivered.

Today (July 28, 2018) I witnessed a mail carrier driving her vehicle through the Glenfield Subdivision at an excessive speed. She was driving well above the posted speed limit of 25 mph. It's the first time I have witnessed this carrier driving this way through Glenfield. She was driving so fast a few weeks ago going around a corner that she nearly ran me off the road. I know your mail carriers work hard, but just because it is late on a Saturday afternoon and they still have a few more neighborhoods to deliver to does not give them the right to endanger other people, especially children,

Carriers work their behinds off but the managers are lazy, bullies who sit on their asses all day ! I've heard many stories from my mail men. Wish their work environment was better !

Horrible and the most unreliable postal service I have ever had to deal with. My hold mail time has ended and it's has been three days and I still have not received my mail. I spoke with the post office manager. After giving me excuses why my mail had not been delivered yet, he assured me my mail would be delivered when I got home from work. It had NOT been delivered. Update to follow

I'm not embarrassed to show my face or let the post office know who I am someone needs to get everyone at this district fired and start over because it is a subpar service that is why the post offices in failure to begin with because they cannot be trusted with a simple task of taking a package from adb that's why FedEx UPS DHL and the rest of the delivery services are capitalizing on what are federal government failed to do in that was supply us with a sustainable service and protect our information in a diligent manner I have had so many packages and checks missing lost and all they can tell me is they don't know what to tell me its always an excuse of someone else that made the mistake I have mailed packages from my other business address is just to see how long it takes to get to my home and back to my business I mind you they are only 3 miles away from each other I don't know if it's an internal problem or specifically the lady that delivers my mail I've installed a camera to watch my mailbox as they even accused someone of stealing mail out of my mailbox as an excuse to why they can't get a simple envelope 3 miles down the street you look at the postmaster stamp date and when the envelope arrived 12 - 15 days later there's a problem thank God for online bill pay or we would all be a beat up with late fees and cancellation notices.

This is the worst post office in the state I can assure you my mail goes a quarter mile down the street at least once a week I have had social security information as well as tax information my private business information being sent to a neighbor down the street which is less than honest because they open my mail which is a federal offense anyway the issue remains that our numbers are close but they don't look at their mail and open it anyway there for my social security number and all of my tax information showing my income as well as other private information has been exposed due to the negligence of our federal post office I will be writing an official complaint and making sure that the idiot that delivers my mail is no longer in a position to subject anyone else to the exposure that they have subjected me to
