I tried calling the post office three times today, August 19, 2022, and no one answered the phone. Yes, I called 812-378-3521. The first time it rang at least 10 times, the second time at least 20 times before Verizon came on and said the line was busy. The third time it rang another 10 times with no answer. There's no option to leave a voicemail. I sent an email to the postmaster and it came back undeliverable. Horrible customer service.
I sent a letter to the Postmaster, 450 Jackson St, as is listed on the website. It was returned marked “no such street”!
This is not a good way to start a relationship with a new resident.
Say the mail lady zoom down my street today without picking up or dropping off mail. This was at 12:30pm in Shadow creek. Is there an actual valid reason for this? When I call the local office...no answer.
It’s extremely frustrating when you have a package in a lock box—but the WRONG KEY is put in your mailbox. Now it’s Saturday snd this was a parcel that was time-sensitive. THANK YOU that there is absolutely no way for me to retrieve this is package until the PO opens on Monday, then late afternoon before the mailman comes by. By the time I get it—it will be too late.
Waiting on a package that was sent 2 day priority mail from Tennessee sent on June 11 still not here June 29th Tracking info says sitting at the processing center.
Mail was suppose to be forwarded effective today 4/15/2021 but I had mail in my mailbox....i have called the phone number 812-378-3521 and no one answers!!!!!
My package shows as delivered on my phone, but it is NOT in my mailbox. This has happened mulitple times this past two weeks. Now I am trying to call the PO and it just rings and rings.
Why have I not recieved any mail yesterday or today. According to the USPS mail report I should have had mail delivery yesterday but did not No one answers the phone What do we need to do to get regular delivery
I paid to have my business mail forwarded in November. For the past month, some of the mail is being forwarded and some of it is not. I paid again and nothing changed. I cannot reach anyone to find out why.
My daughter mails packages to Canada frequently. She has been asking me to go with her bc an employee was rude to her. The employee (Lori) was finally in when I went with my daughter. She did the same eye roll, frustrated gestures that my daughter described. My daughter is 16. She doesn’t understand all the procedures for mailing through customs.
My biggest complaint isn’t being sent to a separate window to fill out customs form. It was after we filled it out and body spray was clearly listed on claimed list, the employee ( a second female employee)kept pushing for details on item listed as clothing. She said nothing about body spray being listed until wasting another 10 minutes of our time, she claimed there was not any way possible for us to ship body spray. We expected to spend some time waiting. That is not the complaint
The complaint is Lori(employee #1) with all the eye rolling, head shaking and other body language indicating frustration. I understand why my 16 year old doesn’t want to deal with her. Then a second employee just didn’t read the form bc she so focused on deatails of “clothing” we listed.
They’re just rude. I’ve had encounters with these same employees over a span of years and it seems like Lori will waste 10-15 minutes just talking to some but won’t spend 5 waiting on custom form and gets frustrated bc we didn’t have one. The other lady is kinda hit and miss. Some days ok, others, just petty.
We won’t use them for mailing packages any longer. We’re not even mad. I was mostly shocked at the behavior.
they dont care about customers or they would answer their phone or process packages faster. if shipper would have used ups or fedex it would be here by now but the use the cheap service called snail mail....
I have medicine refill from Columbus Walmart pharmacy. Walmart had record to mail out the medicine on 4/28/2020. In my credit card, it also has shown the bill. Now, 5/5/2020, I still do not receive it. I call this number, 812-378-3521, not get answer. Please check this package for me. I really need this medicine. I am too old to get out. Thanks for your help.
Went to the Columbus post office today completely not knowing how to mail a package as quickly and personally as possible. The Indian descendant lady was the most helpful and knowledgeable post office employee I have ever dealt with in my 58 years of life. ***** NOTE**** This may sound normal BUT please understand I am a Military Veteran with personal issues concerning the Iran Hostage Crisis , therefore I went into this transaction with a predisposition of a racial matter. I was WRONG...She was extremely courteous,knowledgeable and very patient. Surprised the " inner-me ".
8 months later they are still unable to answer the phone....or deliver mail properly. Instead of knocking they leave a notice needing signature and to pick up at post office....while we are sitting right here and heard them put mail in the mailbox.
