Incompetent employees. I received notice from the postal service that they lost my package. I filed an online search request as instructed by the document. The package was never found so I proceeded with step two of the instructions which say to go to a post office and fill out a form 3533. Neither of the employees had ever faced this situation and though they were able to find a form 3533 they refused to process my claim. I had the letter and all of the info that usps had sent me, the search request number, and the original receipt. I asked that they call for confirmation and they said they wouldn’t even know who to call. Seriously? So now I guess I’ll just have to go to a different post office and hopefully find some people who know how to do their jobs.
