A few things. I live across the street from the post office and the mail truck has been parked here by the boxes for 5 days. All crooked and blocking part of the lane. I tried calling the Naperville post office today and I’m getting the office is closed message. It is 7:25 am and the hours show as open at 7:00am.

Sometimes we don't get any mail at all, then we get a lot the next day. It often comes after 7 PM if it comes at all. I think the postal employees stop delivering mail when they want to finish working, and "double-up" the next day,

Since last August when I had landscaping done, the carriers continue to take short cuts through my newly panted hydrangeas. I have sought to block their path using whatever I had on hand, including fencing, and they still disregard these barriers and any attempt of mine to persuade them to use the walkway up to the porch as they should. Mail also comes in late, at times well past 6pm.

Some of our mail has flyers or events that are getting to us after the event has happened. The most recent example, is the Art Fair Flyer. We received it the week after it was over. We also only seem to get junk mail flyers on Tuesday, and that is our only mail on Tuesdays. our mail comes late; evening time usually or late afternoon.

After reading the following reviews it would appear that the postmaster here has no clue how to manage a business she does not own. On 5 of 6 occasions I have had to go into the building to mail letters. The outdoor drop box is so full that letters fall out. I will not let this happen to mine. The postmaster runs the show and it seems like this is a government job to her and of no concern. Please do better or move on and work at Starbucks.

Moved back to Naperville two months ago, to a condo, and STILL getting a boatload of the previous tenants mail. I contacted her son about the forwarding and he assured me that he addressed it. When I stick it back in the OUT mail, the deranged mail carrier puts it right back in my mailbox. We will play that game for days on end, until I get a black marker and block out EVERYTHING but her name so that he is forced to deal with it. She is in assisted living and I KNOW that checks and personal correspondence are being severely delayed in delivery because of the *SS of a mail carrier. What is wrong with these people?! He KNOWS she doesn’t live here anymore but he’s just too LAZY to properly deal with her mail. I’m glad he’s not MY employee. He’d be FIRED.

Totally unreliable mail service from the main post office in Naperville..it's almost 6pm and my mail has not been delivered..often we get it at 7 pm or later.....maybe they have no staff to do the work I don't know.....but that "forever' thing they have on the stamps, that means it takes forever to get your mail. I've complained to the Post Master a few times over the years, it gets better for a couple days and then bad again.

The phone numbers don't work at all, I called because I lost my mail key and put a note on my mailbox saying not to deliver it in there but to knock on my door and deliver it directly to me instead. Apparently the delivery driver ignored it and put it in the mailbox anyway. I was home and he didn't knock or alert me at all so now I can't access my mail.

It's ridiculous that I'm not able to speak to a human when I call the Post Office to ask a question. Really not acceptable. I tried different numbers and listened to an endless stream of automated messages. Never got my question answered. Terrible customer service.

Why does our driver not deliver packages to either our mailboxes — if the package fits — or to the front door? He never even leaves a notice on my door that there is a package in the community management office. Residents and our management office have complained for years about this and no response.

Did not get any mail Tuesday and Wednesday (Feb 16 or 17) and of course Monday was a Federal Holiday. The roads are clear, but the mail did not arrive. Fedex, UPS and Amazon all are delivering. What is the problem? Tired to call the post office but they are not answering the phone.

No mail last saturday 2/6. No mail today 2/8. Called the customer service line and got a big speech about Covid. The problem is not covid. I live on a court and can see our driver go up the main street, Sequoia. He skips our court. True, not well plowed but UPS, FEDEX, and Amazon make here every day.

So I get a notice that the mail will not be delivered because of the accumulation of the ice and snow on my walks being a hazard. My walks were cleared the day after the last storm and remain clear. The delivery driver seems to not want to just do his job. And any accumulation of snow in the street is not from me and was the result of the city not completely clearing the streets. This is very very annoying. Neither sleet nor snow nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds. What a joke.

Stolen gift card. My mother-in-law sent a $50 gift card in a Christmas card and the gift card was stolen. I got the card opened and re-taped shut. It was from Wisconsin but there was no postmark over the stamp. This is sad. My mother-in-law is 100 years old and this is the only way she can get gifts to people especially during these times.

According to informed delivery, we were to receive a package today. In fact, late this afternoon we got an email claiming said package was delivered at 5:03 on Friday, Dec 18. However that package WAS NOT delivered to our home. Our mail delivery arrived at 5:15. No package. In fact nothing in our box was for us! It all belonged to our next door neighbor. So we DID NOT receive any of our own mail today plus we DID NOT receive the package which, instead, was delivered to the wrong address. This has happened to us multiple times this year. It is more than aggravating. How do we even prove we never got the package? Don't you have any kind of tracking system when a package is left in a mailbox or at a door? I am totally disgusted with the USPS. If this happened once, I could see it as a mistake. But again and again is NOT acceptable. I wonder, is being able to read a requirement for the job? It would only take a second to double check that one was delivering the mail to the correct address before zooming off to the next mailbox. How about some work ethic! By the way, I love how you want me to verify that I am not a robot when I submit this complaint. Maybe your employees should verify complete addresses before they leave a package

I'm sure it wasn't our regular guy, but it sucks when the box I found on our front porch looks like it was drop kicked from the driveway. If you don't like your job , quit.

I called again and again listening to the long automated message and at the end I am supposed to be connected to USPS Naperville location but it kept getting disconnected. Finally, after 10th call, someone answered "Hello", but when I said "Hello" back, she hung up. WTF. Why have a number posted if you are not going to answer? Also, if you picked up, why are you hanging up?

I want to commend an absolutely wonderful postal delivery truck man who serviced 636 Raymond Drive at about 11:30 on Wednesday, August 7th. I had just come from the Northwestern Immediate Care and was totally confused. It was the third doctor's visit this week! He saw my confusion and immediately helped me make a phone call for a cab (I could not read the cell screen out-of-doors) and made sure that the cab would be coming for me. That is Above and Beyond delivering packages --- I do so appreciate him and hope that you do, too!!!!!

Why have a phone number if nobody answers the phone? I have a simple question to ask about safely sending a package to our son. I would appreciate the information before walking into the post office and waiting in line. Please state somewhere on this site that phone calls aren't likely to be answered so we don't waste our time. Thank you!

Mail person left a key in my box to pick up a package that didn't fit in my mail box. They didn't use the bigger drop off boxes next to my box. The number on my key did not match any boxes near me. I guess I'm supposed to go around my complex (over400 units) trying my key in different drop boxes). The drop boxes are not in sequential order. I left the key back in my box after trying four different locations. Thanks for the scavenger hunt. I just want my package vindictive mail person.

The mail lady is trashing the Association's front stoop areas by walking through the mud in the beds and tracking on the porches/stoops that our janitor is charged with keeping clean. He sweeps them weekly and just did it, then called me to report that he saw the mail lady walk through the muddy flower beds and leave large mud tracks on our porches, all of them. He may have to power wash them now. He confronted the carrier and she said, where would we like her to walk; how about on the sidewalks and driveways? Nobody answers any of the phone numbers for Naperville Post Offices.

I mailed very important papers to and address in Naperville and the large envelope with 3 stamps came back with a yellow sticker over the address saying "RETURN TO SENDER, UNABLE TO FORWARD". When I took the sticker off the address was exactly where I have been mailing things to for this person for two years. Why wasn't it delivered?

My main concern is why I post a phone number if no one ever picks up the phone call the phone just rings and rings and rings at the Naperville location no matter what time you call Monday through Saturday any of the noted times that the post office is open the line just rings and rings and rings very poor customer service very poor automated there is no automated service but I've experienced very disappointed and my packages seem to always have issues so it's very frustrating I'm not happy with the postal service at all

The carrier delivered a certified mail containing highly confidential and important government documents to our Naperville address without a signature and despite a forwarding address being on file as we had moved to a different state. I called the post office and the lady after hearing about the situation put me on hold for 20 min and disconnected the line. I tried calling multiple times subsequently with no response. This is how tax dollars are abused!!

I live in Cedar Glen of Naperville. In our area we are routinely delivered each other’s mail, including bills, medication, birth certificates and other important packages and mail. I’ve lived in many places and I have never experienced such disregard for accuracy especially when it comes to items this important. A recent exchange on the Nextdoor app reveals this is widespread. The public counts on the carriers to complete accurate and timely deliveries. Losing these items can be extremely costly. Please do something to ensure our mail is delivered promptly and accurately. Thank you.

Four years later, it is no better. If, as I did, after paying over $60 for 'guaranteed' 5-day delivery, you first try the USPS's website tracking feature, then patiently wait for 10 days to see if they will finally deliver before calling the "Customer Support' you will still get nowhere. The Customer service line (800-275-8777), is unmanned. One is channeled through an interminable and faulty loop that provides no answers (no matter what options you select). The Naperville number is no better as it goes through a quick recitation of mostly unhelpful information before landing on a continuously busy signal. And of course, they want to blame the personnel instead of their deliberate lack of accountability at the organizational level.
