Why is the Lisle Post Office on Ogden telling people they do not accept cash to pay for shipments?? My dad brought an envelope to mail in the amount of $3.57 and was told he could not pay in cash. We verified this with the Villa Park branch and was told the USPS do in fact accept cash. Never mentioned not having change, just insisted they don't accept cash.
Carmen Turner is the carrier that services our house and he is excellent. We have quite a few packages which he has to bring to the door and he is always the most pleasant professional person. USPS is lucky to have him.
What the heck is with the postal box outside this station. It's 4' x 5' x 5' high and you can't even put mail in the top slot it is so full. Sticker says they remove everyday at 12;00 and 5;00.
Get out there and empty that box. Delay of the mail. I am sure it takes a week to fill a box that size. Unbelievable.
Absolutely the worst customer experience. The rudest employee I have ever encountered in my life. She yelled at me for not understanding what she was saying. Then she tried to yank the paper she had handed to me out of my hands. Horribly unprofessional employee. Do not be surprised if you are treated poorly at this facility.
One of the drive up drop off mail boxes is in awful shape. Can not believe it’s has tape attempting to keep the chute opening together. Looks terrible and catches your hand when trying to put letters in. Please fix or replace the mail box. Thank you.
The "post master" AKA GOD is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. Spent five minutes being rude on the phone telling me "i don't have the staff to go look for a package". I told her "in the time you just spent being rude you could have found it". I regularly have packages delivered to me at work and Amazon drops them at the post office b/c we use a courier there is a one day delay so i ALWAYS just go to the post office and pick them up the day they arrive, after 12 years, this is now a problem...ok lazy government employee. I got you. I have a formal call into the dc post office people. Not gonna be rude to me.
I guess the post delivery people don't know how to read a printed address in big bold letters. I sent a regular size envelop to the union hall with the union book inside along with a check to an address that has been there for over 30 yrs. along with the suite number. It was returned to me one month later saying unable to forward return to sender. The union hall has not moved their offices. The suite number has been the same for 30 yrs. since they own the building. What kind a post carriers does the Lisle post office employ?? It goes to show you the govt. employs carriers that can't read or don't want to do their job!!! It's disgusting!!! I stop payment on the check that was in the envelop which cost me $38.00!! for fear someone had gotten the letter & check which in turn they would have my checking account information. Luckily we will not be fined for paying the union dues late and of course the person that answered the phone wanted to check if the address was legitimate--when she couldn't verify the address she turned me over to the delivery supervisor who immediately told me he knew the address and the building had been there for years. This is the type of people our tax dollars go to----just unbelievable!!!
I'm so sad I don't know who to point the finger at my aunt sent me a Birthday card in Sept 24,2017 never receive it & unfortunately she sent cash in the birthday card please people never ever send cash money out because it's definitely thefts everywhere my aunt definitely learn a big lesson so with that being said I never got my birthday ðŸŽðŸŽðŸŽðŸŽðŸŽðŸŽðŸŽðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
This is a review about the post office in Lisle, IL. on Ogden Ave.
I have no problem with the staff or the individual mail carriers that deliver the mail. They are all great.
My issues is the deplorable conditions of the exterior area of the post office. Dead trees and weeds adorn the parking lot. The trees are the ash trees that have emerald ash borer infestation. They are all dead at the top. If you don't have the money to replace the trees, then trim the dead limbs down and the lower parts are still growing.
There used to be bushes in front of the post office, but all of those died and that area was loaded with weeds.
Also the parking lot is in sad shape. I know the post office and all public entities are on a tight budget, but surely someone is in charge of maintaining the outer areas of the grounds.
Really looks sad and neglected
Not sure if the delivery personal are lazy or what but I have had multiple packages delivered to my leasing office, and I'm not made aware of it, or they apparently return my packages to sender because I "no longer live there".... its a subscription I've been receiving for months.... I still pay rent, energy, and utility at the address. I can promise you I haven't moved. But I'd like to know why it's so difficult to receive any information on my parcels.......
a package was supposed to be delivered on january 14 2017 and i still have not received the package. it was sent via express mail on january 13th 2017. ensuring delivery on the 14th. the package contained a personal item that was needed for the following day. the lack of said package has inconvenienced not only myself but others. i had more faith in USPS than i should have. i am unsatisfied with not only the lack of package but also the costumer service provided by my nearby/local post office, due to the rude behavior of the attendant who answered my call.
i shall not be using their services again, but will got to their competitors.
The delivery guy has been always confused with my address in "Oak Ridge Way" with the next street "Northwood Ave". My packages have been delivered to the same number, but a different street address name many times. Luckily the lady living in that address is very nice, so I have been able to get the packages. It's so annoying.
My neighbors also have the same problems. Please tell the delivery guy to make sure to delivery to the correct address.
Rude gentleman behind the counter. I was treated like he was doing me a favor. Didn't take the time to explain and when I asked he was short and very rude.
