First, I rarely ever write reviews, but this time I had to say something. I don't know what's happening with postal delivery, but I have not received any mail for 3 days. I put outgoing mail in my box and raised the flag on Monday and it is still there on Wednesday. I literally just watched the mail truck drive right past, probably because there was a car parked in front of my house and they didn't want to GET OUT OF THE TRUCK. I contacted the Elmhurst post office and spoke with someone who said they contacted the driver and is sending them back. We'll see if that actually happens. No one wants to do their jobs anymore.

I arranged for a return to be picked up from my front porch near my front door .today on your website. I also placed a bill our free standing mail boxes (we're townhouses) for each building. Neither of these items were picked up and I did not receive anything either. Now I think the item I ordered from London that was supposedly delivered last Friday is someone in the back of someone's truck with other "lost" mail. What's up?

I mailed a large number of Christmas cards from the mailbox outside the post office on 12-15-2020 at approximately 10:00 am. There are 2 mail boxes there. I used the west most box. Facing the mail boxes it would be the one on the right. As of today, Dec. 22, none of those cards have been received. However, that afternoon at approximately 3 o’clock I mailed a card to one of the same addresses, that card was delivered. What happened to the 50 other cards plus bills I mailed earlier that day? Very disturbing

I am very concerned about two letters that I put in the outgoing mail box at Elm Creek apartments three weeks ago. They both contained money. They were sent to an address in Union, Kentucky and have NOT been received. Is it possible that the posts employee stole them? Please investigate.

Terrible service at elmhurst post office. Slow long lines and even worse mail carriers. Our bussiness is open mon-fri, 6am-4pm and we still frequently have mail delayed for 2 days plus saying no access to delivery location. Elmhurst post office was slow before corona virus and nothing has changed.

Have always had a great experience at the Elmhurst PO. Friendly and knowledgeable assistance. When I need stamps I'm offered the chance to pick from multiple options of beautiful stamps available (yup, I'm "that person" who holds up the line to pick out my stamps). I live in a condo building so my carrier does change but again am grateful for my mail delivery, occasionally a piece of mail for a neighbor mixed in, but really is it that big of a deal? I think only upset people w/unrealistic expectations post reviews here. Folks, it's hard work to serve the public!

Yes, we always USED to have wonderful service from the Elmhurst postal employees, but there has been a distinct change for the worse in the last several months. I'm on hold right now tracking a "Priority Mail" package I should have gotten a week ago! I do NOT have unrealistic expectations to expect to receive a Priority Mail package in under 13 days!!!

I know a lot of very high-ranking people in the postal Industry. I’ve had about enough of the Elmhurst post office and the rudeness of the employees that work there the lady that answered the phone literally just hung up on me. This is the rudest group of government employees I have ever been around this office needs to be shut down everyone needs to be fired. I am going to make an official complaint.

I have lived in Elmhurst for over 50 years and have met many postal carriers. Recently I introduced myself to a young man who has impressed me with his timely delivery. He is without a doubt the best. His name is Mark. Need more guys like him.

Dear employees of the U.S. post office! Help me find the package. Sending UM423866718US left the intermediate point ELMHURST, IL and no longer tracked. With respect Stas.

How would I send a small package from my house? how would I print a label for that?
Is it cheaper from my house than through the post office?
