Pilsen PO is horrible. The mail carriers are terrible. You call to complain and the phone just rings. After 30 rings it hangs up. Today’s date is January 19 and my husband still has NOT received his pension check. I asked the young lady if she knew anything about it and she stated there was a holiday so just wait a couple of days. He called his pension and the check was mailed out on the 26th of December. He’s still waiting! They need to clean house at that post office and get ppl who want to work!

Goes out of their way to not deliver packages. Constantly claiming my mail box is full when it isn't or that my address is not accessible. None are true. The post office just doesn't feel like delivering it so they continue to make excuses until it gets sent back to the sender. Truly the worst post office I've ever encountered. And if you want to get them on the phone? Good luck. I never thought I'd support privatization of the USPS but this office is close to convincing me. Customer beware. You have no recourse here.

Hi, Wondering if mail is not being distributed this week? did I miss something a notice or what's going on? I have not gotten a piece of mail since last Friday. Where is my mail? I've been expecting bills and documents but nothing not even junk mail has been delivered to our building on Cermak. Anyone have an explanation? Thanks

Piss poor job of package deliveries. Keeps claiming they tried to deliver and gives specific times but delivery person is not even trying to delivery and then lying saying he/she did try. Keeps claiming my front door/driveway is not accessible. That's BS. Its a clear 20 feet to the curb and I have no driveway. Next complaint will be to Post Master General for misconduct by employee and Supervision for not handling this problem. Zip Code 60608 I know who you are and now you know the problem area. FIX IT! And this has nothing to do with Covid 19 it is a derelict employee.

Funny, I am having the exact same issue. Each time I purchase from this one company in particular. I NEVER receive the package. Then, I have the hardest time getting in contact with anyone from USPS.

Same issue. Same zip code. This has been going on since before Covid so they can keep that lie. No mail has been delivered in over a week. And the last time I did get mail my dad had a letter from court that was delivered a week late!

On Saturday, March 7, 2020 my mailbox contained mail for 3233, 3231, and 3229 S Paulina. I am a senior and have difficulty getting around. I do not appreciate doing a mail carrier's job without pay. The regular carrier does an excellent job, always.

I have a mail slot at my front door yet my mail is thrown onto the porch like a newspaper, free to blow in the wind or sit in the rain.

I have not received any mail from the pilsen post office for the last 3 weeks. After calling numerous times I was able to finally speak to someone who took my information yet I have not heard anything from the manager there - his name is KEN BROWN. I spoke with a Ms. Richardson who stated that I would get a call back; needless to say I have had to file a complaint with the inspector's office because of the poor customer service. It seems to me that the pilsen post office does not care about any concerns per its demographic base and it seems to me that carriers are stealing the mail or just not delivering at all. I have been waiting on a gift card for almost a month and im sure a carrier has taken it. Once I speak to the district manager, I will try my best to have the manager reprimanded for completely ignoring my call as it is clear they don't want to be bothered because god forbid if they have to do some work.

The post office you mentioned is NOT the only place that the supervisor or manager DO NOT DO THERE JOB.... just sitting around and ignoring customers....many COMPLAINTS NEVER GET RESOLVED..

The Pilsen USPS and Amazon do not mix. I keep getting Amazon packages late when I have items ordered with 2-day delivery. The tracking number says package was delivered in mail room so that it shows it's on time but packages will come 2 days later.

We are a business and called 3 times to find out where our mail is today. Darlene (the manager) told me that they are very busy and the mail carrier would be here in 30 minutes. I asked her how anyone can run a business when they haven't had mail in 3 days (no mail Friday - Veterans Day)she said too bad and she'll be here in 30 minutes. I am on hold with the 800 Post office # and there is a 30 minute wait for that also. They must be taught in training tell everyone 30 minutes. Even Carrier Pigeon is faster

argue or tell me things the others have already told me. I have, on a few occasions, told the man that he needed to be respectful and to stop talking to me in such a condescending way. over the phone and in person. last week was the last straw because he was basically harassing me, calling me a racist (he is latino, I'm white), just because I have a problem with his demeanor. the supervisor heard it all, and has mentioned that he is constantly getting in fights with people and he is on heavy watch. she apologized heavily to me and told me not to worry about him. well WHY ISn't HE FIRED if he's such a problem? local friends tell me they have witnessed altercations between the man and customers on several occasions, so I know it's not just me.i have been taking my packages and dropping them off at another post office lately. I would recommend avoiding this hell hole AT ALL COSTS.NEW INFO: the delivery person just recently bent the shit out of a "PLEASE DO NOT BEND" package in order to squish it into my mailbox. there was a CD in that package. well, there was. now i have pieces to make a mosaic with. thanks. but of course, since there was no insurance on that package, THE POST OFFICE WILL DO NOTHING. i guess they can continue to lose and damage merchandise without being held responsible because more money wasnt shelled out to insure a package.ALSO: i just found out a package for me has been sitting and waiting for pickup since may 30th. absolutely no notification of any kind was left for me. it's a good thing i just checked the tracking information the seller provided for me or it would have been sent back to him.OH YEA, i forgot to mention THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. TWICE. packages sent to me with no notification have been returned to the shipper because i was never notified to pick it up. AND AGAIN, the post office does nothing to compensate for this inconvenience.sometimes i wish i could move away from pilsen just to get away from this incompetent shitfest of shoddy postal workers.
