I’d like an exterior mailbox at my address in Bayview Idaho. What is the process in obtaining a delivery at my address ?

Hi. Just some feedback and hope that USPS can help older people in the future. We sent two day shipping and arrived on Monday. However, grandpa didn't answer the door and seems like that postal person had left a message. Which somehow he missed and didn't obtained. He went post office, asking his package on Wednesday since we told him it should be on Monday. He didn't get the package. It's Friday today. We are asking grandpa to try local post office again and how the picture if our receipt. Hope this help him but it really miss the point of two day shipping...with many miscommunication. Thank you.
