I'm not sure what's going on... but have been calling and calling the Nevada Post Office.. it rings and rings and no one answers... Have not had mail delivered in more then a week...
This is the fourth time I've had trouble with my packages inside of a parcel locker. On one of those occasions, I called during Lobby Hours, and no one answered. This time, the parcel locker door was partially open, and the key slot was turned about 30-degrees. The key left for me would not open the parcel locker door. The previous times, there was something wrong with the lock. One time the key was broken inside the lock. The carrier actually left a broken key inside my mail slot..
My address is...
1113 Sioux Drive
Nevada, IA 50201.
The locker in question is number 1P.
Can't the carrier check the locks before leaving a key for a broken lock or leaving a broken key? Or better yet stop using the ganged mail slots/ parcel lockers and have all of us install mailboxes at the curb. Or best yet, install mail slots in our houses. This is getting to be a real problem.
I have been trying to call the local post office in Nevada, Iowa for the last day and a half. I get the busy signal every time. My issue is that we did not get our Ames Tribune in the mail Wednesday, 7/14/2021. I called the Ames Tribune regarding this. They said they sent the bundle to the post office in time, and I should call them. Today, Thursday, 7/15/2021, we received the paper for Thursday 7/15/2021, but not the one for Wednesday. 7/14/2021. Not sure why that is. I wanted to contact the post office and speak with a person, but that is impossible. This is very frustrating and makes us wonder how much of our mail we are not receiving.
rural delivery driver is a lazy dirt bag. maybe give the job to someone willing to work...
he leaves me notes because I have parked in the street with plenty of space to get to my box and the next. this is a street and I have accommodated the slob. try to call the office and wouldn't you know it. there is only 1 person there and she can't do anything. is this the worst office in the country?
I received a notice that a package had been delivered to us, but we had not received it. The rural carrier gave me the number to call at the Nevada Post Office with my tracking number. The person I talked to was very pleasant and promised to track the package and get back to me. Within 15 minutes I received a call back, the package was found and delivered to our door the next day.
Called the Nevada Post office and Amy answered. Didn’t even let me finish as to why I called before she interrupted me saying she’s the only one there and too busy to help me. Why answer the phone, then?? Very rude, I have a lost package. Won’t talk to her again!
The post office manager at this branch was extremely rude to me when I reported a missing package. She didn't want to give me the time of day because the packaged was marked as delivered (it wasn't) and gave me no options to report the missing package. She was threatening and didn't want to give me the time of day. Very disappointed in my experience there.
