I had a package coming from China to an address in Iowa. Waited wells for this package and on Monday 3/6/23 the package arrived in Allerton. Went to pick up the package on Tuesday and it wasn’t there. The lady who ran the post office sent it back on Monday because she didn’t recognize the name for that address. Didn’t call, didn’t wait even a day to see if the package was meant to go to that address. Just sent it back. When asked about the package she said it was our fault because my name wasn’t set for that address. We didn’t know it had to be since I just got here after losing my home in Florida to the hurricane. Horrible lady, no sympathy, rude, and thought she was in the right. She could have put a note in the P.O. Box but didn’t notify us at all, just sent it back to China. Now I will have to pay to have it shipped again and wait a month again. Worst experience with the post office ever!!!! She obviously doesn’t like her job or the people she takes care of.
