I had one item of mail sent to my wife's P.O. Box there in Mililani because of past issues of mail not making it to me through my post office here in Pahoa, Hi (Hawai'i island). Thinking this would solve my problem, it proved to be worse than expected because they REFUSED to release my mail to her. They claimed they needed TWO proofs of identification before they could release said item. Meaning I'd need to FLY to O'ahu and WALK into Mililani post office MYSELF. No, it was not addressed to my wife, but it was sent to her P.O. Box, and this was not the first time she's received mail addressed to someone else that was released to her. I've NEVER heard of or experienced this type of procedure at any post office. Ridiculous!!

Subject: Parcel Delivery I received the following tracking information on an item ordered from Amazon.com: Shipped with USPS Tracking ID: 9361289713016454922048 Monday, December 12 2:57 PM Package delivered. Mililani, HI Rather than a package, only the mailing label in a plastic bag from the USPS w/caption "WE CARE" & message that expressed regret for damage to my mail during handling by the USPS was placed in my mailbox. Neither the damaged box nor contents were provided, nor were they held at the post office. Employees need to be trained not to discard the contents until released by the recipient. Without a photo of the damage, claim to Amazon for non-receipt will be difficult to prove. Cost of item is $595.81. Is Amazon or USPS responsible for the damage? If USPS, request action be taken directly with Amazon to resolve this matter, and advise if a replacement item will be sent. Thank you.

You have a package that was returned to you by someone who realized it was not their s but the PO says it's not there! I have spent almost two hours trying to get someone to answer the phone & no response! I really need that package given to the right person! How can I get someone to answer the phone?!

Umm... What's the sense in leaving a review/comment if it's not read by postal employees? I'd think that by employees reading what customers are saying is a good way for the employees to do their job better or feel good that their services are appreciated. Either way IT'S GOOD FOR OVERALL MORAL

Due to construction. 95-051 Kuahelani Ave. block of units did not receive mail. Is the mailman holding onto mail or do we need to pickup at PO? Its a mess over there, & no one is picking up the phone.

I hate when my post lady(Dalane) goes on vacation because the service is so bad and off times. I expect a rush delivery. I got a note to sign for it. I signed and put it in the mailbox today. I returned home to find no package, no note, no ANYTHING. NOW I HAVE NO PACKAGE ID # TO REFER TO BECAUSE MY NOTE WAS TAKEN AND NO ADDITIONAL NOTES WERE LEFT BACK TO ME.
