I am very unhappy that in the past several months our mailbox door is not being closed properly and our mail/bills is getting wet. We just replaced the mailbox a few months ago and this has never been an issue until recently. I know bad weather and rushed schedules make mail service people feel rushed. I also know there are subs on our route many times. But all it would take is about two extra seconds to secure the mail being placed inside our mailbox. With seasonal winds picking up, I am worried that items placed in the box might get blown away. I would appreciate it if our mail service personnel would show some consideration for our mail and mailbox.
