Postal Locations

I’m a relatively new resident here on Wilmington Island and wanted to give a shout out to my closest post office I’ve been there twice in the past two days and it’s been jampacked .. is grandma sending off Easter presents bringing in shopping bags getting packages ready .. tax time..and there’s a Gal Who just deserves kudos!!! I did not know her name but she has a cute kick fliphaircut (Like Mary Tyler Moore ) she signs her receipts with a big blue heart !! And a have good day salutaion to each and every customer!!and she is just a delight .. every customer with a smile and a hello and she is top-notch service ..she knows exactly what she’s doing ..she’s calm ..she’s polite ..friendly and witty ..and talk about multitasking. Such a pleasure ! Thought y’all should know. Just a couple steps next door and you won’t get the same experience sadly

I sell stuff on ebay and have always dropped of pre-labeled packages at this location with no issue. Last Monday 8/10 I dropped off 7 packages. I received notification from a buyer that he had not received the package. I checked the tracking and NONE had been scanned. It is now Monday 8/17 and I was just told by the employee at the post office that they do not scan packages. Since when? How many packages could be stolen this way? Total garbage.

Beverly at the Wilminton GA post office is an extremely competent valued employee, I thank her very much for her help in getting my phone forwarded from my PO box to NC; I forgot to notify my carrier. I am 72 and work with many individuals and she goes above and beyond.
