It seems the Hamilton, GA post office has unilaterally decided to no longer deliver packages to an individual’s residence. The Amazon tracking indicates delivery was attempted, but my security cameras indicated no attempt was made. This is unsatisfactory service.

They always leave a slip saying they are sorry they missed me with my package & I will have to come pick it up. well #1 they didn’t miss me because they never brought it since I’m always home #2 I order from online/amazon because it’s delivered to me & not for me to have to go get it.

I received a notice from Amazon on 9/4/20 an attempt was made to deliver a package to me yesterday 9/4.. When I looked on Informed Delivery it shows this package was being held at the post office per my request. I did not authorize the carrier to hold it. It was a package I needed for a birthday today 9/5/2020. I did not receive a notification in my mailbox the package was being held. How do I get my package delivered without having to drive to the post office which is about 30 miles away?

This exact thing happened to me regarding ONE of my 4 packages. The other 3 packages are said to have been delivered. I have external home cameras and NONE of my packages were attempted to be delivered. So now i have one package being held at the post office even though I never asked for that and 3 others saying they were left on my porch which is also untrue. What’s happened to this post office????
